  1. It seems the heavier spring make you focus more on the sights. Maybe the slower slide speed is more your speed. ( no pun intended)
  2. The occluder look good, but I only want to cover part of the lens. I don't want to cover the entire eye. with the entire eye covered you lose peripheral vision and when I look down to reload, I want to see reload with both eyes.
  3. I use two pair of glasses. My prescription shooting glasses have the right eye taped. I also keep a pair of shooting glasses on my head. I just switch out glasses when its my turn to shoot. I agree, I couldn't wall around and SO all day with my eye taped!
  4. Titegeoup is my preferred powder.
  5. No need to lower it. I put a mirror up and all I need to do is look up. I can see into the case feeder without any problem.
  6. Its not as easy as it sounds. I need to work on it more.
  7. Remember that the Max OAL for 9 mm is 1.169. The shorter the OAL, the higher the pressure. I load both 124gr Berry's RN and 124 gr Montana Gold CMJ to 1.150 in my Gen3 G34. I advise you to experiment with different OAL's to determine what's best for you and your gun.
  8. Flitz is pretty popular with polishing Glocks internals.
  9. Welcome to the forum. Remember that tiny steps is considered movement in IDPA. Practice movement during your dry fire practice.
  10. Sounds like high primers. Did you check the OAL?
  11. These are my favorite type of posts! Now you can head down the shot calling road! Thanks Brian! I went to the range again today and I noticed a difference when I was shooting some plate rack drills courtesy of Rob Leatham. I'm also really focusing on the wall drill during dry fire. I'll be calling shots in no time ( I hope).
  12. On my G34, I run the Sevigny competition sights (black rear and 245 fiber optic front). I really like them!
  13. Amazing that it took a long trigger pull for me to finally see the sights lift. ...almost surreal how the target was blurred out and the sights were crystal clear.
  14. Exactly what he said. There is no comprehensive list of guns that are IDPA legal.
  15. Shoot IDPA and Production in USPSA. I prefer the 124.
  16. Only 2 weeks per section to complete the test. For example, my area for testing was July 15th.
  17. why shoot a pistol match if your not there to compete with other shooters?you could stay home and just do drills always trying to improve on them. at half the cost. Because it doesn't matter what they do. All that matters is how I do.

Put on a flea collar. Just kidding!
  19. I've always done my best and when I shoot, I compete against myself and not other shooters.
  20. Wow! Thankfully you figured it out.
  21. Congratulations! Get your sleep now while you still can and stock up on ammo because diapers are expensive!
