  1. Why should your training plan change? If you have a good plan in place, then you shouldn't have to change anything.
  2. Tumbling them in walnut won't hurt them. After matches or practice, I usually pull out loaded rounds I picked up before I clean my brass. On a few occasions, I have found live rounds in my tumbler that have been running for 3-4 hours.
  3. I shoot both IDPA & USPSA and I wear speed cross 3's. The cleats are legal since they are trail running shoes.
  4. I use Lee dies in my XL650 for 9mm and 45acp
  5. Up until last year, I would sort my brass by head stamp and I would only load winchester, Federal, Remington and starline. 9mm is a straight walled case. Now I just pick it up, clean it, inspect it, lube it and toss it into my XL650 case feeder.
  6. I run Lee dies in my XL650 and I only shoot Glocks. I really like the factory crimp die.
  7. 1.130-1.135 with 3.2gr Titegroup. I run 147 gr bayou's. Good luck!
  8. 1.130-1.135 is my Oal for Bayou 147gr with Titegroup 3.2 gr out of my Glock 34.
  9. I use 147gr Bayous over 3.2 Titegroup in my G34. No issues or problems at all.
  10. CCI's run good through my Dillon XL650. +1 to what Hi power Jack said
  11. If you are having second thoughts about using magnum primers, send them to me and I'll make sure they are OK. I've used magnum primers in my 9mm loads before, just use them.
  12. +1 for all the comments above re: setting your own OAL.1. Are you "crimping" the cartridges before you "dry cycle" them? If not, they'll be "rough" to cycle 2. You might want to click on Forums, in top left corner of your screen, then on Reloading, and then 9mm - spend a half hour reading up on previous posts re: how to reload 9mm.
  13. When I loaded Berry's on my turret press years ago (before I got my 650) my Glock liked them long. I would have to look in my low book to see exactly how long but each gun has a sweet spot for each particular bullet, you just have to find it. The bayou's I load now on my 650 are way different than the Berry's
  14. I shoot a Glock 34 for limited minor in USPSA and ESP in IDPA. Here's my load 147gr bayou 3.2 Titegroup 1.130-1.135 Oal Mixed brass No problem knocking down steel or making power factor.
  15. I agree with Ken. What he said!
  16. Not sure if I'm any help, but I use Titegroup with 147gr Bayou's. I have a friend who uses lead in his Glock without any leading issues. I'll stick with the bayou's in my G34.
  17. My thoughts exactly. Years ago I used to sort brass by Headstamp and I would only load like brass for matches and practice. Now I pick it up, clean it, inspect it and dump it into my Dillon XL650 case feeder.
  18. +1 on what razorfish said! My experiences are the same.
  19. I've been using the lanolin and alcohol mixture for a while. Just dump rounds into a small baking pan I stole from the wife, spray and toss around. Never had any issues with residue. The silicone spray in a bag is something I need to try. It will probably work better than the lanolin mixture.
  20. I never had to align my 650. Are you sure you are hitting the stops with the handle? Occasionally if I don't push the handle back up completely, the case doesn't center correctly. I just reach around and nudge the case under the die. Did you call Dillon? What did they say?
  21. I like Titegroup 3.2gr behind a bayou 147gr. I switched from the 124's to the 147's because the 147's have more of a push and the 124's have more of a flip.
  22. I like 185gr, but I use my 9mm in both USPSA & IDPA Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
