  1. 9 mm in stock also. I ordered 1k last night and I got a USPS tracking number today!!! I just checked their site and the 9mm are still in stock
  2. I've used Berry's for several years with both Winchester 231 and now with titegroup. I really like the 124gr 9mm double struck with 4.0gr of titegroup and a oal of 1.150. They work very well for me!
  3. Montana Gold has some 9mm in stock! I just ordered 1k (limit) and they shipped the next day!!! Get them while you can
  4. There is no comparison -- I could never get my brass this clean, inside and out, using dry media -- The biggest thing for me is the primer pockets -- Spotless, if you run long enough, with wet tumbling when you pop the primer before you tumble Does it matter? Most guys say no -- but it matters to me -- I started loading precision rifle rounds 20+ years ago -- Cleaning primer pockets was engrained into my reloading habit It just doesn't feel right for me to put a primer in a dirty pocket -- Pistol or rifle round Thanks for the info! I agree they look brand new
  5. Josh, lets try this link http://s707.photobucket.com/user/mscott327/media/Stage2.mp4.html
  6. Very nice! It must be nice having a cnc machine in your: garage!
  7. I didn't know any better when I first started reloading a couple of years ago. I bought the Franklin arsenal tumbler. For a cheap little tumbler it still works great. Never had an issues with it.
  8. Everything I watch is recorded. I hardly ever watch commercials
  9. That looks awesome. How are the results wet tumbling versus using dry media?
  10. you and me both! Trying to get anything right now is hard enough.
  11. The first time I shot a USPSA Match we had two on the same stage. I learned quickly how to shoot them (from the top down) Here's a video from our last USPSA match Stage 2. two shooting boxes, 2 poppers, 4 targets and one Texas star. Stage description: from one shooting box engage the targets, the other box engage the steel. If you think positive, you will succeed. Here's how I shoot it. http://s707.photobucket.com/user/mscott327/media/Stage2.mp4.html
  12. Been there done that! My second USPSA Match I started the stage reloaded as I moved to the plate rack got off two shots and slide lock. Pretty funny actually I have it on video. I look down...like why am I at slide lock? I actually check the magazines as I walk up to shoot a stage now. I even do it during IDPA Matched too.
  13. IDPA doesn't allow any DOH holsters. Blade tech is what I use for both IDPA & USPSA.
  14. Its addicting! If you can sign up on squads, find a squad that has some good experienced shooters on it and shoot with them. Ask questions and watch some of the really good shooters at your club. Most of them are willing to help out and talk to new shooters.
  15. First off I live in Florida! Where it gets pretty hot. IDPA was created with the premise of everyday carry. So wear whatever is comfortable for you. For example, I wear cargo shorts from nautica in the summer months and LA police gear operator pants in the winter. For shirts I wear Columbia omni shade polo year round for the sun protection. I wear the Wool rich vest. This is what I usually wear when I'm not working and I'm carrying my concealed weapon. (Excluding the vest of course)

    Barney Round

I use the same gun in IDPA and USPSA. I highlighted the 10 with white crayon on each magazine so I can quickly see how many rounds are in each magazine. My first magazine has 11 rounds in it which is kept in my strong side pocket.
  17. Great post. Vogel is a machine. It looks like he's shooting a 22! No flip at all
  18. I'm left handed also! I also use a G34 for both USPSA and IDPA. I use the blade tech. If you need to order one, I know a good company to get one from in Florida. Let me know and I can get you their info.
  19. Don't rely on anyone else for your loads. What works for one might not work for you. I recommend looking in your manuals and start at the low end of the load data and work up in small increments until you finds what works best for you.
  20. I had the luxury of taking a class with Mike in December. He's a great teacher and a great guy. I would recommend his class to anyone.
  21. I agree with some of the other replies. Technology is changing fast! Here's my take Kindle format to put on my tablet and take it with me to the range A workbook for logging times and quick reference for drills Interactive( Here's what you do, here's how I do it, now you do it) A corresponding video for the visual learners
  22. Mike Seeklander has a book called "Your competitive Handgun Training Program". It discusses drills for visualization and talks about mental training.
  23. I'm doing the same thing right now. Left handed, right eye dominant. I shoot such better groups, faster target acquisition, better sight picture with my left eye. Even though my right eye is dominant, I'm taping my right eye and I'm teaching my left eye to control my sights. So far its working great.
