Doesn't look right to me. A shooter in our club did something similar to his G35 frame using some kind of epoxy and blended it nicely to the original texture. It actually felt pretty good and prevents the slide from cutting your skin if you happen to grip the gun too high. I think the XD custom shop does the same thing for $175.

Same thing here, size 40 and it's 48" long. I too wear size 38 pants and when I wear the belt, there's about 2" of velcro part showing.

Now I'm confused. I just picked up an open gun from Limcat Custom in .38 Super with an Aftec extractor. I was told by the builder that I can convert to SuperComp just by adding another spring.

Like they said...use the AR. I tried my friend's SU16 and honestly, I prefer the Mini-14. The Kel-Tec's rail, in my opinion might not be solid enough to retain zero. I've seen Mini-14s in action and they shoot very well. Only thing I like about the SU16 is its ability to use AR mags.

Yup, 2.54 seconds. I saw it...I was there, can't believe it myself; but it was fast. And I thought I did good doing it a little over 4 seconds.

I use a fiber optic for my front and a turkey sight for the rear. Works great for long range slug shots.

I got one on my old (no groves) G22 without issues. Now I need to figure out which base pad will work. I heard some of the base pads will not work with this magwell, does anybody know which one. I also got the the brass one.

Have you guys looked at Storm Cases by Hardigg? Storm Case I heard that they are as good as the Pelican cases.

It laughed at me so hard that I almost threw my gun at it. I've been shooting reliably using Federal 7.5's and 6's with my 1100CM without problems and modification on the gun using a modified choke, I never used anything under 1oz. nor anything under 3 DRAM as I heard that it could have issues with the 1100CM. But those Texas stars got me thinking about trying 4's.

Thanks Sting, I forgot to mention that it's a pair of medium rings I'm using. Hopefully, it will be good enough. Can't wait to get the upper.

Can anybody please give me information on the base mount used by Officer Michael Judd Whitfield on his AR pictured on the front cover of the May/June 2005 issue of Front Sight. I am planning to mount a Simmons Pro Diamond 1.5-5x20mm using a pair of Leupold Mark 4 1" rings. I think it will sit too low and probably won't even work with a flat-top upper without using some kind of a riser. Thanks in advance.

Also, don't forget to include match footage of some shotgun stages.

I actually cut myself when reseting those steel plates.

Match is over and may I say it was a blast, even though my day was bad from start to finish. I arrived at the match half our late just to find out that I don't have my key to my rifle's cable lock. They helped me at the range by using a chisel and hammer to cut the cable. After finishing all the stages with a miss or two, I happen to leave behind my rifle sitting on a rack on stage 5. I shot with Butch, Adam, Steve, Vince, Dave and Chris. If you guys happen to pick it up, please let me know how I can get it back. It's been a pleasure and thank you.

I have one of the old frame G22 and was thinking of getting a G35 slide with a KKM barrel from Glockmeister. I was qouted for about $450 for the a complete top-end and the price of a new G35 is around $580. Changed my mind on the upper and will just buy a complete G34 for Production for just $130 more. But to answer your question, the old G22 frame just needs a new ejector, but the newer ones should take the G35 top.

Like they said. Buy it back for the price of the Glock. This is why I cannot make up my mind if I should sell a couple of handguns I have sitting in the safe for years. I have a Beretta 92FS in Stainless Steel, Made in Italy with original packaging, papers, case, brush and the 2 high-cap mags. Hardly used it and not produced in Italy anymore. The other is a Sig Sauer P226, Made in W. Germany with all the original packaging, case and 3 high-cap mags. For years I've been thinking of selling them for a race gun but can never find it in my heart to let them go. Because like you said, I will surely regret it somehow. BUT THEY'RE JUST SITTING IN THE SAFE!
