  1. Designs are constantly updated and improved, look at Glock for example.
  2. Flyingpig, interesting, you must have got one of the very first like that, as the earliest I've heard was only a few weeks ago.
  3. the frame looks exactly the same as it did before on the outside. Nothing different there. 115gr is snappy I totally blame that for the problems
  4. I"m going to blame your ammo for all those broken guns lol! Serial numbers don't always relate properly to the casting batch, you can have very different serial numbers on guns that were all cast at the same time what exactly do you want a picture of? the slide from the side or the frame from that side?
  5. Not sure why the other thread got edited and closed, but here are the original pics I took of the inside of the new 2s. It shows the new relief cut made to alleviate cracking on the right side of the inside of the frame, above and to the rear of the slidestop pin. I'm pretty sure it was a specific batch of guns that experienced this, and the numbers aren't that high for how many were affected. This cut already exists on other 75 series guns, I think the alloy frame maybe? (not 100% sure which guns, but I know it exists). I've also included a pic of one gun that did break
  6. Hey, I wonder who took those pics?
  7. For me it's 50% function and 50% esthetics. I do prefer the larger basepad for grabbing the mags and seating them, but not sure you guys can even have them in USPSA?
  8. I opted for the full kit, which includes gunsmith fit bits plus others.
  9. cardboard is there to hold the vacuum hose adapter in place. I use a 223 case jammed between the trimmer and the adapter.
  10. overtravel screw on the trigger needs adjusting
  11. I'm waiting for my Revo to show up, but I'm very impressed with the new Evos. But for both I wish they had incorporated a debris checker in the first station.
  12. it is a shame they can't sort out the Arcore issue with the frames, it's 100% cosmetic and not performance related. I'm going to go cuddle my two consecutively numbered Arcore guns now
  13. I can't recommend the Chapman Toolkit highly enough, if you get their big kit taking out the screws in CZs is easy.
  14. This is a known issue with the MecGar mags, the mag catch can be over pressed, into the frame and bind the mags, as they are slightly larger than the older CZ mags. That is one reason the Shadow 2 mag catch has a different design where the spring sits. The spring tweak to the mag catch spring fixes the problem.
  15. to mount to peg board there are a couple solutions, put a couple screws through the front of each shell plate spot, so that the plates can insert, but not fall through. Or for a nice finish, just attach a bottom to it and mount that to the peg board.
  16. uggg, ignore my last reply, that was putting a Shadow mag release in a Shadow 2, I was half asleep when I started talking about the spring tweak
  17. Production legal in IPSC not sure on USPSA but it is considered a factory part. One big difference internally is the shadow mag release does not have the metal rib between the legs of the spring, so you'll probably want to do the spring leg adjustment trick so that you can't over press the mag release and bind up mags from dropping.
  18. they are having enough problems meeting order numbers with the 2 and the P10C
  19. I just used a 3/8th thick plate under the press to achieve the same thing
  20. with the extra pieces I put in behind the wrapped tie it's a PITA to put back as you have to fiddle with those pieces to get them back in. But your solution is great if you don't want to remove cases
  21. I wrap the zip tie around each station with a second piece of zip tie in pinched in against the frame so that it's even tighter between the shellplate and zip tie. I tried doing it like you show in the pic, but I like being able to remove cases at the seating station.
  22. no sizing die other than the trim die body, am I understanding that right?
  23. I did a search, that's how I ended up here actually. How is it hijacking? Necroposting sure, but hijacking?
