  1. pics of the powder drop and collator would be nice. I am waiting (still, I mean it's only been a couple months right?) for my ITAR stuff to get sorted out for my powder measure and primer system. Both the collator and the primer feed system need to go back and be replaced, along with the powder measure as it's doing weird thing.s
  2. 3.4 grams of powder? I think you mean grains
  3. I've been using my gas oven but recently we had gas line explosion that has impacted us where I live. Thinking about getting a dehydrator but I want to make sure it can dry as fast as I run brass, I run my brass for an hour in the FART, so the dryer needs to work that fast too, which one would you guys think is most likely to do that?
  4. I made the same shield, MK7 says they are making a plexi one that will be hinged or something. I look forward to that so mine doesn't look like some homeless dude made it
  5. I've been running a Mighty Armory for awhile now, and loving it, still the odd pullback, but far far far less than I had before. Like maybe 2 or 3 in 10,000 brass
  6. For the GoPro cams check out the Smatree hats on Amazon, they allow you to attach the camera to the crown of the hat, and still mount it nice and low close to the brim. I found that removed all my issues with shaky video footage with my Session. Now if they would just fix the sound issues on the Sessions I'd be happy
  7. I got 5 of the very first ones from Saul, and two of them had the issue of not staying tight, but DAA had sent the replacement parts before I'd even received my pouches so a week later I had installed the updates. That was back in July and I've beaten the crap out of these pouches with no bending of the material where the dovetail is, I'm a big guy and rolling over from side to side in a prone position hasn't wrecked these pouches. They are rock solid. I added loctite to all the screws once I was happy with the placement of the ball joint on the pouch, and that might be what has kept mine nice and tight. were the screw to loosen, even with the ball, and allow the pouches to wiggle and wobble, you might get some bending of the material. I'm just waiting for the titanium versions of these to be revealed at IWA.......
  8. My Revo does not have the second support/guide pin on the front of the press as I ordered mine in 9mm.
  9. It has been 3 weeks now that I have been trying to get through to support. I have a couple issues that they know about that need to be dealt with, being outside the US means ITAR stuff, but I haven't heard a word.
  10. there are PDF manuals for the machines, but you have to actually buy the machine to get into the MK7 website to be able to download them. While irksome, I don't see a big deal with this. I printed off my Revo manual and took it downstairs to do the setup, all 15 minutes or whatever it was that it took me to set it up.
  11. appears so, 5lb for DA/SA and 3lb for constant triggers like striker fired guns
  12. Yeah Fritz was pushing hard for the weight limit due to the so called exclusion of Glock and others from the podium. Apparently we now can expect the money to start flowing into our sport in never before seen volumes.....
  13. at the IPSC General Assembly in Thailand it was voted to approve both divisions put forth, Production Optics and Production Optics Light, with light having a requirement of 1kg weight with optic and empty mag inserted. Still waiting on more info on other rule changes but so far I believe the change to Production trigger weights has also been approved, DA/SA guns will stay at 5lbs for first shot, but striker fired guns will be 3lbs for all shots.
  14. YES PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. you need the split O'ring collet and the shim kit (well the shim kit is debatable, but he says it makes the collet last longer due to less flexing). He'll send you a new cap, collet and the shim plate and it should thread onto your Dillon hammer. Or you can just run the collet and shim plate with the original cap
  16. ugg, his videos need to be updated for sure. I do not need to remove the cap or the collet from the Quinetics puller when using it on pistol or even some rifle cartridges. His O'ring is crimped into place around the collet, and then cut in one spot. This allows the collet to self open/loosen when you undo the cap a half turn (maybe slightly more depending on the case in it), then dump out the contents, insert the new one and tighten again. I got the shim fit combo for my inertia pullers, I have one a Quinetics brand one, a Dillon, and an RCBS one (I bought a 3 pack when I replaced a broken puller a couple years ago).
  17. I've got 2 collet pullers, RCBS and Hornady, and the Quinetics, they aren't even close to the speed I can smack them out with the inertial puller. Due to the Quinetics one having a split O'ring it's only a half turn to dump out the case and pulled bullet, insert new round and tighten again with a half turn and then smack. I had to pull just over 1500 rounds once due to a buddy not noticing the measure ran out of powder took me about 45 minutes at a nice easy pace. A little spilled powder from the odd case I had to hit twice on the floor, but not much.
  18. The Quinetics bullet puller is the shiznit when it comes to having to pull a lot of bullets, fastest way to do it.
  19. I use a zap strap to sort out anything longer than 9mm on my presses, wrap it around the top of the case feed structure, and anything taller than a 9mm won't feed out into the shell plate. I don't worry about 380 or anything like that, never see that up here
  20. My buddy got his from Australia, not sure where mine will come from when I order it.
