Bummer I like that show. He does a great job
  3. Thanks Steve. I am sure there must be some folks out there with first hand experience.
  4. If I am milling the slide so the rmr fits nice and tight into the slide do I need to mill in bosses. Window shopping around the internet it seems to be a toss up.
  5. The grips will work with your normal mag of .
  6. Welcome Check out www.gmpsvt.com for our uspsa club.
  7. I think its a great idea. I don't understand why people are so against it.
  8. Ok, your issue is just what I thought get the tools out and grind of the right hand side of the safety so you are not pressing it up with your strong hand. You can thin out the whole thing or just where you strong hand is applying pressure to it. Take a look at the left side and do the same thing. I also add a little tension to the detent by altering the hole on the safety. I use a larger bit so the detent locks in better. I run the Brazos shield to keep my thumb off the slide.
  9. I would guess his support hand is bumping the safety up and the mark on his strong hand is from the slide. We need you to hold the gun in both hands like you normally shoot and get someone to take a picture.
  10. Grind off the offending parts stiffen up the detent on the safety.
  11. Try STI they gave me a couple of grips to practice stippling. If I can find one of them its yours. I will check after work.
  12. Mine just arrived. I put 30 rds in it first try and it fits the pt grip just fine. Its way too late to shoot so I have not tried it out yet.
  13. Wouldn't the Mike column still be available? The only difference should be that there will be a NPM column available for the disappearing target so you would have a choice of either putting in Mikes or NPM. NPM = no point deduction
  14. I am not sure I would have even gone to the rule book for that one. Thanks for posting it. Where would you record the two misses with electronic scoring?

The gun looks awesome. I am glad you posted a picture.
  16. Nothing works well in the Vermont winter unless you keep the pasters warm.
  17. My RL1050 will "waterfall" and the bench is solid. I might have to try that fix.
  18. Yup, Manny is not a fan of the thumb rest.
  19. I use a thumb rest, I have for years. I switched over after trying a friends gun. I think the thumb rest helps me make a better grip on the gun. I do not push down on it with my thumb. I have a friend that uses one and he uses a lot of pressure on his. When I switch over to shooting my G22 work gun I do not miss having the rest on there.
