  1. The powder measure doesn't twist at the dye it twist at the top the second half twists
  2. I have been reloading on a older 1050 for quite a while. I have had issues with the powder measure making a pop sound and sending the little white bushing flying across the room. It didn't happen that often so I figured it was just loosening up. The powder measure twist clock wise when it is belling and filling the brass in its station. I have the original MR Bullet Feeder installed and I use his powder drop. Last night I was having trouble with bullets staying in the case after they were dropped in. I decided to open up the case mouth just a bit more. Nothing crazy. Now the powder measure keeps popping apart. It twists to the right allowing the little white bushing to blast off. I switched to a different measure and it lasted about 25 rounds and blast off. What do I have out of adjustment? The second powder measure worked just fine on the 550. I have not put it back on to try it there I am out of the little white tabs.
  3. I just changed the dot module and now the zero changes at will. If I shoot 6 shots I will end up with two groups about two inches apart.
  4. How fast can you do it if you start off facing the target?
  5. I used 8.7 of hs6, Tula srp at 1.165 oal. My powerfactor would run around 173-175 out of my Cheely gun.
  6. .2.2.1.1 Shooting Boxes and Fault Lines should be constructed of wooden boards or other suitable material, must be fixed firmly in place, and provide both physical and visual references to competitors. For hard ground surfaces clear of debris, 0.75 inch material is the minimum allowable size. On other range surfaces, such as covered with turf, sand, gravel, wood chips or similar, thicker material which rises at least 1.5 inches above the surface is recommended.
  7. Yes strapping is the same as target sticks.
  8. Sarge, I agree with your interpretation. They should change the wording from recommended to required. It would help clear things up.
  9. Let me ask a rules question. If I am using .75 strapping in grass or snow is it a legal fault line?
  10. Looks like we might be the only club using strapping?
  11. My club has used strapping for fault lines for years. Our ranges are grass or sand covered, sometimes its hard to tell if you are standing on the fault line or if you just earned a PE. The rules say .75 in the minimum on hard packed surfaces they recommend 1.5 if you you are on grass or dirt. What does your club use?
  12. Matt and his work are top notch. Give him a call.
  13. I have one of the new ones. It was fit to the frame by sti. It looks like it is starting to crack.
  14. My duty gear is not much slower then my USPSA gear. There is a greater risk of messing up a draw because of the retention features on my holster.
  15. We drive to a "local" two state away match. We grab a room for the major matches at the same ranges.
