  1. I would love to see what the inside of that barrel looks like
  2. I have the Nikon SpotOn app on my iPhone and love it. For $5 you cannot beat it. BTW I really am not an app type person and have very few but this one works.
  3. I have been loading my 223’s with Winchester SRP and just picked up some Federal Match SR primers. Can I expect any change in pressure or velocity? My load is 24.5gr of TAP with Nosler 69gr match bullets and yes I will check the velocity when I can. Thanks
  4. SCR, is A CTR with a side charging handle instead of a traditional Charging handle, not needed (although could be handy but requires practice) PSC, Upper reciever that has both a side charging handle and traditional charging handle, mated to a JP-15 lower. CTR, Billet Upper and Lower. JP's flagship for Competition rifles. JP-15, Forged Upper and lower, more traditional AR-15 look. Go with the 18inch Mid contour or Light Contour Barrel. JP triggers are 1 stage, but that's all you need really. Go Low mass. Heat sink is a big NO. XL hand gaurds are nice but not needed, but all my rifles run a 15"+ handgaurd. If your looking for the "lightest" setup go with the JP-15, it will also cost you $700 less then the SCR. Out the door, with XL Handguard and the other options you wanted(minus the heatsink) that you posted + a 18inch barrel, a JP-15 will run you over $2000, Can't beat that with a stick. Why no to the heat sink? I ask because I have a rifle on order and I included it. Guess I should have searched first.

A good word for that cat is .... PULL
  6. She is going to have an addadicktomy
  7. Wow, there sure is not much buzz on this match. What’s up? I can not believe it but this is going to be the first Florida State match that I will miss in many many years and it stinks. My back is so screwed up there is no way I can be there. When I shoot a club match I have a hard time moving the next day. Therefore, a two day match is out of the question. Hope everyone has a great match. Ed Lawson L415
  8. From the trailer it looks like this could be a funny one. But I think I will wait for the CD a few weeks after the opening.
  9. I have had one DQ in my shooting life, which if you look at my number is long. There was a line of targets with a long shooting box in front of them. The way the stage procedure worked out it you ended up at the right end of the box and then had to move to your left. Well I left my brain someplace and turned to my right, as I was doing this I realized what was happening and pointed the gun down at the ground before it covered anyone. Well I had truly broken the 180 to the tune of about an extra 20 and just stopped. If you can believe it the argument with the RO was I said well that's a DQ and he said no its not. I won that argument and learned a great deal from the mistake. Ed L415

    Naked Cowboy

    That boy has no sense.......
  11. I am planning to purchase the Dawson Adjustable rear sight for my G34. The web page states that you need either a .285 or .300 tall front sight. OK, which is the correct one? Thanks Ed L415
  12. I would love to see that MORON try that setup with real Glocks and not Airsoft "Glocks”. 10 to 1 he would put a round into himself. Hey then we would have a new candidate for the Darwin Awards…
  13. First off to be honest I was one of the folks in the background laughing my butt off. Now about the guy shooting…. He is a fairly new shooter and if all new shooter to our sport worked their butts off as hard as this guy does for the sport we would be much better off. Yes, I know this is the humor sections and I think all of the comments here are funny I just wanted you to know about my friend. Ed - L415
  14. Wow March is here…. First the 12 hours of Sebring (a car race) and then the Florida Match. I am looking forward to both!
  15. Please tell me that was a joke!
  16. Just to add my 2 cents I went from A36xx (don't remember) to L415
  17. What is that white stuff???
  18. Minor league – a good fart would have popped that thing!
  19. How about one from the shooters point of view? When given the LAMR command turn your head to the RO and say “Excuse me while I whip this out…”
  20. First a little background. I used to shoot what is now open and my last gun was a 38 super on a Caspin wide body with a PDP3 scope. Not long after Limited came out I sold the super and have been shooting limited ever since. Now for the question …. I am thinking about having an open gun built and have a question about eye correction. Since I am now 50+ I have a different pair of glasses which help me see the front sight clearly. With a scope do I need to have my eyes corrected to the location of the dot like I do with the front sight or for the location of the target? Thanks Ed Lawson L415
