Speaking of dump crooks I just heard on the radio about someone down here in Florida going up to a Deputy to complain about a crack deal. It seems as if the (the nicest name I can come up with is “jerk”) placed the crack on the hood of the car. Free night in jail for that one. What am I talking about free night in jail …. my taxes paid for the night…..

Maybe because I am not that much of a cat fan. But there are 3 shots of a cat attaching a child. If anymore of those was my kid the cat would die before its next heart beat. BTW… I am a dog lover and the same would apply to a dog. I just do not understand why someone thinks it is funny when a pet attacks a child. Interesting – I just received my November/December Front Sight and it had the March 2006 Board Meeting minutes. There were two life members terminated. While I do not question the need to do this sometimes and the rules allow it I am curious as to why these two were put out.

I can not speak to tumbling loaded rounds as I have never done this. The way I removed most if not all of my One Shot lube is to dump 75 to 100 at a time on a large (old) terrycloth towel. I then fold it over and just simply move the rounds around. This seems to remove the lube just fine.

Not sure if you have purchased a camera as yet. The new Nikon D80 looks like a great deal. It seems to be the little brother to my D200. Good Luck For you Canon fans I went Nikon digital years ago (D100) as I already had a lot of Nikon glass from the film days.

Just how long should I expect the barrel in my 40 S&W to last? The gun is built on a SV frame by Dave Pruitt using a Jarvis barrel. The gun is approaching 30K rounds and is still almost as tight as the day it was new. The barrel has been abused the way most of us abuse them when we practice. The accuracy seems ok but I have been in a slump and it is hard to tell right now. No the slump is not the gun’s fault it is mine. Too much work not enough practice. I have been at this game a very long time and have never had a gun this long. I always have tended to buy a new one every few years. That is just how much I like this gun. Thanks Ed

I am not sure I see the whole point to this. I do not think that I really care what the IPSC wants. If I am not mistaken we, that is the USPSA, are the largest single group in IPSC yet the rest of them what to tell us how to run our lives. I just looked at the match book and only have one thing to say ()*&)& Hurricane Dry Run. I want to go to this match bad and can not. I work for a Florida electric utility and the week before the match weekend we play hurricane leaving no time to drive up. Y’all have fun.
