  1. Well I tried the yellow rod and it does indeed work much better for me than the red one. I can now see the entire sight in the notch when the sun is out bright. However, I still find myself looking at the dot to the point that I do not look at the entire sight. I guess I have been using the black post for so very long I am just used to it. For now I am going to keep the micro dot on the back up gun and keep playing with it on and off when I practice. I will continue to use my primary with the post in matches.
  2. Hi Guy, Thanks for all of the input. When I was at the GA State Match they had several targets in the shade, which caused a little bit of a problem with my black front sight. Brazos was at the match so I purchased one of his Micro Dot sights for my back up gun to try it out. I have been busy since the match and have not had a chance to shoot much. I tried the sight at a local match and seemed to like it. (Note it was a cloudy day) However, today I got to practice and with the sun out bright (love South Florida) the dot was so bright I could not find the top of the sight and it washed out the gap as well. I am going to leave it on the back up for awhile but am going back to my primary with a .095 front sight and sight black. BTW I am 48 year old and have a different set of lens for shooting.
  3. Thanks for all of the replys. Now for another questions ... Were is the Dillon scale made? The PACT is made here in the USA. Thanks
  4. What Electronic Powder Measure would you folks recommend, and why?
  5. Does anyone out there still use a Post Front Sight and site black? Or am I the only person on earth still doing this in Limited?
  6. The latest “Front Sight” has a very interesting article on coating targets to help them resist the rain. Seems like a great idea that might prevent the need for the hated bags in all but the heaviest downpour.
