less bullet in the case . the inside of a 9mm is tapered and can/will deform the base of the bullet.
RECOIL IMPULSE in a pcc is different than a pistol. I shot 147s in a pcc at first then switched to
lighter ended up with 135s with 3.0 sport pistol. Other reason I had feeding problems and switiched
to a round nose witch had to be shoved so far into the case it was deforming the bullets.I shoot 3gun
with a pcc not uspsa targets are farather out and smaller so accercay does come into the equation more.
your BBI 147 is in the case less than a round nose 147 . Its all about the profile.
Its short . Can you load longer?
if you have been using that length before with no issues then why would you have issues now?
personally I feel that length is to short but I dont have a gun that requires such a short length.
My loads for 147s are 1.135 ish. But they chamber in my guns they may not in yours.you asked about powder
I answerd. In a pcc I would go to a lighter bullet. A 135 with 3.0sp should work . A 124/125 would need 3.8 sp.
this is what I was refereeing tohttps://www.egwguns.com/arredondo-docter-sight-adapter-for-jpoint
not the one you wont but they have other combinations.
re read this and I have a question based on an observation.
When the various wet cleaning methods came about .I started
noticing lots of brass splitting and other sizing issues.so could
this new batch of brass been wet cleaned with some witches brew.
That causes the brass to be "hard" in some way. That is one reason
wet cleaning is /has fell out of favor locally. Any one else notice this?
what head stamp is giving you issues?
The reason I ask. I have a few cases that have failed case gauge.
1 is a tulimmo marked 9mm luger in measures 18mm length.All
other diminutions are correct to be 9x19. Also have a PPU marked
9mm BROW.L That length measures 20mm in length.
bullseye and sport pistol are virtually the same per weight charge.
you may or may not have to add .1 for sport pistol . SP takes up a
little more space than BE. Stick to the bullets you have been using
and length .(J-Ames bullets are no different and not any better)
you probably don't reload but reducing the powder charge would help.
Other wise a 308 flat wire spring will slow the bolt down some. would probably
be insignificant thow. why can you not use an adjustable gas block this is what there made for,
