so far just the revolver nationals, and signed up for area 3 in revolver, picked up a 627 and just got it back from Randy Lee yesterday it is sweet. should be a fun year now all I have to do is learn to count to 8.
may have to switch back to open (just kidding) maybe there will be more than 2 of us this year was mighty lonely last year. just got the call from apex my 627 will be back tomorrow
I use the light springs on my open glock and it's 100% with 6.8 AC and CCISR primers but I am using a ZEV extended and lightened striker may be difference
I use both TF and SJC both work great as for price the sjc cost seems high but TF are up there to, mags $34-$39 then add ext at $59, to me it's a wash that is why I have a few of each
work for a cable CO. that has there own sports network, I was talking to some friends today and the sports caster/producer was there he now wants to go to the revo nationals and film/follow me at he nationals for his new outdoor show to air this summer. I like the idea as the sport needs some good coverage. and it would be seen all over the upper mid west. who would I have to talk to, to see if this could happen I'm sure the USPSA. any one else.
I was in a local Cabelas this weekend, and I over heard a group of people ask about a Ruger 22/45 pistol, and what 22/45 meant when the sales man said it was a convertible pistol that you could swap from 22LR to 45 ACP, I almost spit up up all over the counter.I had to get one of the other sale men that I know to go help out this customer before some one got hurt.
been looking for awhile to find 1 that didn't cost arm and a left --- will be shipped Monday, got to love Cabela's. The guys at the local store have been looking for 1 for me and this one showed up at another store. It don't take much to make me happy:)
a local IDPA club I shoot 2-3 matches a year will let me shoot thru with my open gun on the 2nd round. it's fun shooting my space gun (what the idpa guys call it),
I like the SJC with the c more better but it is a lot harder to install.I like the bigger glass of the c more and I pick it up faster and it sets closer to the bore. the carver is stronger I think and with the delta point it sets closer to the bore than the c more on the same mount(but not as close as the SJC). it installs very easy on gen 3-4,the only down side to the carver is you have to use a mod C R speed holster were as the SJC you can use any good speed holster that is made for a glock. the bad part of the one with the SJC mount is my youngest son shoots this one and he wont let me play with very often. .
