  2. give me a call if you want to shoot fargo this weekend
  3. 124 gr berrys with 6.8 AC and a cci sm rifle 1450 fps out of my open glock with a KKM barel and carver comp
  4. this may be true because I found some at gun parts inc. and that's how they get a lot of there parts. ordered 4 and they said they have a bunch of sets
  5. have been looking for shotgun speed loaders and every were I looked they are out, were do you find them
  6. well I have to throw in the Caver very tight fit to gun, big opening and will work with most mag extensions
  7. yes back in the 80's-90's USA MAGS made one in Stainless I bought 1 and still have it, they will eat up your mag release
  8. send them to me I'll suffer with them
  9. In the uspsa gauge, the *ONLY* way that a mag can pass is if it's flat against those 2 pads... The reason - that is the shortest taper as a part of the measurement taper, if it's not flat, it's longer than 171.xxmm which is the max length allowed. We just went through this at the AL match and quite a number of people who were running 4mm+ basepads on 170's found their way into a pay for but no score match. I borrowed this from the Dawson site, if you look at the mag on the left, it would not pass as you can see daylight at the top where the pad is... and you can see the taper that the mag has to fit against and then against those pads. Just to fit inside the taper and not be flush against the back won't pass. The right mag will pass and you can see the small flat pads as well. See appendix E1 for the specifics, and you'll see that the dimension is from the back edge of the feed lips to the back edge of the basepad as the basepad sets in the groove for it. And while on the this topic, you know that grip tape that people are putting on their mags, that will count in the measurement unless you remove it. so what your saying is those of us that shoot open glocks can't use Taylor freelance mag ext, because they don't fit flat in the gauge. even though the are under the 171 length. even after being checked by the N.O.R.I. and were deemed legal
  10. the mag does not have to be flat against the back.(it just has to less than 171) my 170 glock mags wont lay flat with the taylor freelance extensions and the are legal, and have been checked a few times
  11. I load 9 mm major, shoot and leave my brass, but I found a local range that sells me brass for $50 - about 5000+ - brings the cost way down, this a indoor range and you have to pick out the 380 brass but that's not that hard, Last 5000 found about 300 380's
  12. what hate is that 1 guy at the range that thinks he knows everything.
  13. I love fishing for muskies. it's a obsession I even fished for several years on the trail as a pro, only do it for enjoyment these days.
  14. tried these fixes,3 styles of moon clips the main spring is tight, thought the grips were causing the problem as the rubber was coming apart on the inside and binding on the main spring, and still no luck, and I'm using federal primers, and everything I can think of.Time to get it to a expert and get it done right looked at apex tac website and they look good, will have to call and talk to them.
  15. it's an old gun, just dusted it off as I want to start shooting revo for the winter indoor season, worked fine when I put it away 10+ years ago but can't get it to work again. been playing with it for a few months and it is well above my skill level to fix at this point
  16. who would you send a 610 S&W that is having problems,I don't have a local smith that I would trust. I am having light strikes on 1-2 in every 6 shots, not ammo troubles works good in other guns.
  17. I was thinking about the same thing. hate to see a good site die
  18. never thought of rain-X on the lens will have to give that a try, I have the presoaked towels in the truck
  19. the take up set screw needs to backed off a bit, all it need is a bit of tuning there is nothing wrong with it. the install instructions will show you how to set it up
  20. I earned mine was looking to far ahead and swung to a target that I ran by, 180 the second I did it I new. first 1 ever and I started in 84. and this match was set with gun handling in mind with a lot of places to break 180 if you lost your train of thought for just a split second.well I did, and the only one to blame is me not the stages or the RO's they all did a great job, great match and I will be back next year
  21. Got mt first DQ today, started shooting this game back in 1984 (took s few years off in there) and have shoot a few majors over the years,I just thinking to far ahead and over ran some targets and swung back to engage as I backed up and broke the 180. the second I did it I knew. I think the RO was more upset about DQ'ing me than I was. told him after that I would have and have done it as an RO before. All I could do was thank him for doing a good job and leave. now I'm sitting in the hotel in the AC and drinking a cold one, wishing I was shooting but not to broke up about it,So now I'll have to spend the day in Bass Pro tomorrow and I know that's going to cost me a lot,
  22. just received my new belt I thought' Ordered a DAA belt but when I opened the package it was a C & R which is to thin and all my gear slides around on. this not the end of the world other than I leave for area 3 in five days and can't get a new one in time. so how do you make a c&r belt work.they are just to thin and weak to hold a holster and mags from moving around. have not heard back from the people I ordered maybe the can help out with any luck
  23. carvers are one of the best never any trouble and all mag base pads work even the stock I use as a barney fit with no trouble. nice guy to work with.
