  1. Sell it or trade it for what you need instead of dumping more money into a gun only you will have made and you may not like the results.
  2. should be able to find a used one in your price range unless you must have a new one.
  3. and how many grains of clays are you using ?
  4. couple of things to check is the barrel locking lugs ok and check the barrel bushing for a tight fit.
  5. Also become close friends with someone you shoot with that has a lot of spare parts incase you don't have a part you need. Seen people with enough spare parts to build a couple of guns.
  6. The sites on the ACII are Novak cut front and rear, not pinned or mil cut.
  7. Before you order a custom gun you should know what you want and need. To speed $3000.00 + and get things you don't like or need is a waste of money. Custom should be built for you not just anyone with the money to speed.
  8. Don't seat the bullets any different than your normal loads. Then you will now the OAL is the same as reg ammo and the functions is the same.
  9. I use 1 cap full of nuFinsh/MS mixed in my Dillion 2000 for about 1000 9mm case at a time with no problems.
  10. Just keep buying those red and other machines and buy a new one every five years as they upgrade there machines trying to catch up to Dillions orginal machines. Go Blue.
  11. I've used the CS many time over the last 30 years and this year a hele coil came apart, they gave me a return # and I sent the machine in. then rebuilt the whole SD for the price of shipping to them. Even before this happened I tell people spend the money and get Dillion, less expemsive in the long run. People think they are saving money buying other brands but when they add up what they spent upgrading their savings they could have bought two Dillions.
  12. Thats a good reason to buy the parts kit and the part would be on hand to keep reloading. You can still call and get the replacement part and put it back in the kit.
  13. You need to start at 21 feet and make sure their accurate, move back to 50 feet and they should be in the same grouping and then move back further until you get the distance you will be shooting from. There is a difference shooting at paper target and shooting at steel targets. The bad groups may be more you than the loads.
  14. No problems here using the MS + Nufinish. sometimes things just break or crack.
  15. You could build a plat form under the cabinets and raise it that way.
  16. I load around 3000 rds a month and never clean the primer pockets. 38,9 and 45
  17. Only thing is when a small gets in with the large and screws up the loading process. I try to keep them apart and give the small to others.
  18. What game are you shooting? I load DEWC with no problems reloading for PPC.
  19. I'm not getting an STI. Just want my springfield to come in, I'm not paying sug list price to get it right now. I will remmember the dealer that wants sug list price so I neaver buy from him. I'm just antsy for mine to come in.
  20. Can't find a springfield loaded target 9mm anywhere in stock. talked with springfield and they said they make a run every other 30days. After two months I would think one would show up at my dealers. I'm first on his list just getting in the I want it now mood.
  21. I'll check two or three after I add powder then I load till the powder is very low. I do not load near max charges
  22. 1. read reloading manuals 2. start below max charges 3. reload 5 rounds and different charge weights in .2grs increases 4. load one round at a time, incase something goes wrong. 5. does the load make your gun function right. 6. is the load accurate in your gun. some loads will work in one gun and not another even if their the same model. 7 do they meet the specs needed for the job you want to do? hunting, target shooting or competition
  23. It's not who makes the best it's which do YOU like best. That's why you end up with a box full of holsters.
  24. Never seen the big one working but someguys like the small hand ones.
