  1. Seems like I saw something like that in a brookstone, or a skymall mag a while back. Not sure if either of those would be high quality enough for a book though.
  2. wow talk about paying it forward.
  3. Clays is good. N320 is better.
  4. call him up. Donnie will work with you.
  5. I ordered clips specifically for starline brass and they work great.
  6. the 147's are going to feel better as well. less recoil.
  7. I shot some 115 gr hornady bullets out of a purpose built steel gun the other day and it had zero recoil.
  8. 9>40 for open. Recoil, Mag capacity, gas production, etc.
  9. I also had a great experience with their CS. Great write up. It is much appreciated.
  10. Please refer to any of the many other threads where this has been discussed at length. There are always those who think it is showing off and who don't like it, and there will always be those who can do it safely and who continue to do it. Im goingt o continue to do it because it is safer than any other way to unload a gun.
  11. Same thing as every other gun. Springs, sights, trigger. The rest is cosmetic and purely based upon how you want the gun to look.
  12. I went to Ocho rios and wouldn't recommend it. But I am not much for leaving the country.
  13. 30-40 oz depending upon make. Yes, go for the comp.
  14. Is it a good gun? I'm sure it is. are there others in the same price range that are better?, Absolutely. Some of those others also support the sport, since that is where this thread has gone.
  15. You should be focusing on the front sight. Targets should be blurry. Relax and shoot more. It will come.
  16. There really isn't much that can be wrong with a 2011 that can't be fixed. There are self proclaimed gunsmiths out there who can screw up a frame beyond repair but it ain't easy. If you would like a list of those smith's that I would recommend staying away from, just PM me.
  17. Just like I posted earlier about the Stock II in production, It seems like availability/production is the only thing holding back a lot of firearms sales. Why would you introduce something two years before they are available?
  18. I think that if the stock II's availability were better, they would be dominant in USPSA production.
  19. My guess would be over pressure, or at least high enough pressure to extrude the firing pin hit back out to flat. Bottom line is that if it went bang, it was hit by the pin.
  20. I love the race master, but there is something to say for the simplicity of kydex.
