  1. Their posting on facebook 04/06 said their website was down for repairs, but they could still be reached at info@cameronscustomguns.com.
  2. Or it could be a diabolical plan to put a final stake to the heart of the fashion of wearing pants/shorts pulled halfway down the butt.
  3. But only if you can carry a tune.
  4. I've had yet another medication change, so I'll be under an evaluation period with more tests to follow in four weeks. That means no Single Stack or Revolver Nationals for me this year. Sometimes life just sucks!
  5. The first step to getting better is admitting you have a problem.
  6. The polishing of the trigger internals that Van mentioned are detailed in the dvd video "Trigger Job" that Jerry Miculek did for Lenny Magill Productions (www.GunVideo.com). The video would be yet another low buck item that can enhance your shooting experience with S&W revolvers.
  7. Nope. Those are for the model 627 in .357/38. You want ones specifically for the 929 in 9mm.
  8. Mike, that is one heck of an impulse buy. I totally agree on going to the TK Custom website (tkcustom.com) and you can find moonclips, loading/unloading tools to get you started. Hope you enjoy it to the fullest.
  9. Blade-Tech makes a holster that won't break the bank. The North Mountain 4-post moon clip holder is pretty popular as well. If you already have a competition belt or a thick concealed carry type belt you can use that with both these. Get a few more of the standard moon clips (if they work with your favorite 9mm ammo) and a BMT moon clip loader/unloader and you should be in business. Oh, and be sure to ditch the end cap and compensator before you head out to the range. Hope you enjoy competing in revolver division. Visit the USPSA website to find local, state, area and national matches.
  10. If you're willing to cut material to whatever pattern you want for your gun then the 3M product is hard to beat. Long lasting adhesive and an effective and durable texture for grip are what you can expect.
  11. So, you're telling us there may be a chance of seeing it available in a couple weeks? Hey, it was worth a shot.
  12. Welcome back, Eureka. Hoping my health allows me to return to the range this year as well.
  13. Somehow I don't think he's implying that the venue provides for a "Thriller" of a competition.
  14. Natchez Shooters Supplies (natchezss.com) has Federal American Eagle 115 gr. 9mm for $12.09/box of 50. It's been very good ammunition in my guns.
  15. As Gary has stated, the information is out there for anyone who has access. This sport is not for everyone regardless of background. How many of us have seen a new shooter show up at a match, have a good time, leave the range with a smile on their face ... and you never see them again? I've felt like a caged animal for the last 3 1/2 years not being able to safely compete in the shooting sports due to heart issues which we're still hoping to get ironed out, but I'll volunteer to set up an occasional classifier to help out. The people who want to get into this sport will get into it. All we can do is offer encouragement and information to those who dare to screw up the courage to simply ask.
  16. Hopefully they were on REALLY good terms at the time and he already had his lead dialed in!
  17. ... or find some brave soul with long arms who can consistently walk at 10 ft./sec. maybe?
