  1. It turned itself off last night so it isn't just staying on. I'll keep an eye on it and see how long this battery lasts. New energizer installed 4-3-22
  2. I think I have 4 or 5 RTS2s. They are all either V3 or V4s. They are supposed to go to sleep after being on for so many hours. The V5s are motion activated. On the other sights I don't think I have ever found one just dead when I go to turn it on. Usually I think it does not seem quite bright enough and swap out the battery or put it on a volt meter to confirm its running low. I will turn this one on tonight and confirm it turns itself off. But I usually check and double check everything; unloaded, no mag and optic off before putting guns away in the safe
  3. For the speed loaders do you have multi DS10s? Or are the holders on the belt a loading block and you use one DS10? Either way it is neat. I have not seen that type of rimfire holder or block. You should post pics of it all loaded up however you use it
  4. I have a RTS2 mounted on a ruger mark 4 set up for steel challenge. I got it out in October 2021 to do some accuracy comparisons and the battery was dead. It had been a while since I shot it and did not think anything of it and put a new energizer in there. I have not touched the gun till this week when steel challenge started back up and the battery was dead again. So ya its been sitting for 6 months untouched and kilt another battery. It is a 10moa V4 - anything I should be checking other than looking for other than another dead battery?
  5. Anyone know how many guns they are making and selling? Seems odd coating has been the ongoing delay for years now
  6. That's messed up... LOL! I like these for MPX https://www.shootersconnectionstore.com/Comp-Tac-PCC-PLM-Magazine-Pouch-P4988.aspx I use one horizontal in the front and one vertical on the side. I use the side on for load make ready mag and on the front if I have a mandatory reload or something bad happens. I also had the sig plastic ones when I first got the MPX. They feel pretty flimsy vs the CT - especially with the plus 10 or 20 extensions the sigs felt like they could let go at anytime

    X5 Legion accuracy

My legion came with the LCI barrel. I sent it to sig complaining about carbon on the red dot and they replaced it no charge with a non lci barrel. I also have reduced power recoil springs and after market tungsten guide rod for all the testing I have done and discussed on this thread.
  8. I am not sure what it is but for some reason I think I "need" one. I like to help sig beta test Everything "gen 1" gets to go back to sig to get fixed but I keep on lining up anyways...
  9. Just wondering if anyone has? It's two layer. Would like to keep the red inside layer and paint the outside black. Was thinking about using testors model paint
  10. It looks like there is a large channel for big profile barrels in the fore end. I have used lead shot to fill the void under the barrel for weighing down the fore end of a rifle. Hold the lead shot in with silicone or some type of epoxy depending on how permanent you want the lead shot attached to the rifle

    X5 Legion accuracy

Did you ever get this work completed and have an opportunity to do some accuracy testing?
  12. Well since there isn't a stand alone CO topics page I guess here is as good as anywhere to ask. Anyone know of other manufactures releasing tungsten infused polymer grips? I like the X5 legion but there are several things I still like better about the S&W M&P guns. Ya I know the FCU won't just pop out like the sig but someone else has to jump on this band wagon. Any gossip out there about what's coming?
  13. Aaaaand no optic for that price?
  14. you just sold me one. That is sweet!
  15. Not knowing what happened was stressful
  16. I missed it a lot. My work productivity went up by 25%. I was starting to think my boss hacked the forum...
  17. I load for multiple guns and try to get one load that will work in almost everything. I did have feeding issues with flat nose in my MPXs and switched to RN - but MPX mags feed from the left and right. If you are using g-lock and others that feed from the center of the mags you should be ok. RN I usually load around 1.12. If you already have a load for your CZ try that in your pcc and see how it works. I have mr bullet feeder on my 650 and use 147 RN blues without issues. I have also ran 121 zero hp, 124 mg hp, berry 147 rn plated, zero 147 hp, blue 125 tc, 115 mg cmj through mr bullet feeder without issue. I don't think I have ever use FP in MBF but still think you should be able to make it work
  18. I prefer the recoil impulse and dot movement of the heavy 147s.
  19. Your budget makes this decision. If it was all free everyone would be using brand new super comp brass and leaving it lay. Trying to save money you reuse, pick up range brass, buy used processed. As long as you have a good QAQC process for your loaded ammo you should not find any ammo related problems on the firing line. To a certain extent reloading is a big part of the hobby and I receive a lot of enjoyment making my own ammo
  20. I have been thinking about ordering but the double action only keeps making me hesitate. Are these DAO because the hammer spur is gone or the sear?
  21. I have a rugged gear gun cart and a lil beach umbrella that is about 5.5ft and 3.5lbs. I was asked to give the family gift ideas for christmas and listed a 9ft sportbrella. Well I got it and its way to big and heavy for rugged gear cart. I am thinking the 8 footer should work but just curious if anyone knows a good set up Here's me waiting for the squad ahead of us to clear a stage on one of those hotter than ballz summer days this winter weather has me missing.
  22. Yep. Ol Larry Gougerfield has high rent CCI primers in stock too.
  23. I had expected more innovation since the V1 had been out of production for a year or so. I thought there might be some SV Honcho tech blending. Its a good looking gun but seems like de stroking and steel comp is the big change. Can't wait for V3. Maybe it will come with cool Eddie Van Halen plastic grip?
