  1. I had expected more innovation since the V1 had been out of production for a year or so. I thought there might be some SV Honcho tech blending. Its a good looking gun but seems like de stroking and steel comp is the big change. Can't wait for V3. Maybe it will come with cool Eddie Van Halen plastic grip?
  2. This place has some cool mounts. Not sure if any that are listed here would work with holosun. Maybe they will make a base for you if they don't have something that would work already... https://maddmacsprecisiontactical.com/parts-for-rugerreg-mkiii--mkiv-2245trade--2245-litereg.html
  3. I had a good experience with a Ruger SR1911 full size I wish I had not sold....
  4. I have scan disc 8gb in mine. 417 series took up 147mb of space
  5. I liked the prochrono digital link app better. You could add notes, name guns, powders, bullets etc. Lab I have series 0313 for a name shown above. It would be great to know what gun load etc that was. But I know the exact date and time down to the second when the shot was fired...
  6. I have a samsung note 9 and the lab app does work but not well. It looses connectivity often. And the data display is not very user friendly. It shows a series list of groups of shots, click on the series to show averages, click on shots in series, it brings up the individual shot list and shows you the shot number, the time and the date. Instead of time and/or date how about the velocity. To see the shot info you have to click on each shot individually. I love the lab radar but wish they would make the app better. Everything is so date and time driven - I could care less about the when. I want to know velocity
  7. Just received one today and thinking about how to "attach" a drill to it. I did a little testing - hand crank vs using a drill and there is no way I will re attach the handle after trying the drill. I have a plan but curious if anyone else has been there and done that and has advice? Thanks
  8. This morning on the way to school my 7 year old asks how come he has to go to school for so many days in a row and then only gets 2 days off for weekends. I agree work sucks and I think we need to flip our schedules. 5 days off for fun, relaxing and our hobbies followed by 2 days of work.
  9. Interesting. Can't tell for sure but I am assuming the JP5 uses the same extractor spring as MP5?
  10. What is the lead time for an SV open gun these days?
  11. https://uspsa.org/viewer/pdf/03-14.pdf Over the weekend we got to shoot this classifier. There were some discussions about limited shots vs Virginia count vs Comstock vs what is written in stage procedure, scoring, and WSB. Maybe where we don't shoot fixed time classifiers often, even after the rule book came out there were still some discussions about the rules. And since it is written under scoring "scoring: fixed time" we should know shots are limited - even though it doesn't say it? So it sounds like firing more than 6 shots in a string would get you a procedure? And if someone fired at the wrong target that already had 6 holes in it, the 7th hole would be a procedure? No one I was shooting with tried to game it or shot this incorrectly. Sometimes the rules are clear, sometimes you need a range lawyer to keep you out of trouble.
  12. What bolt does it use? Is it a MP5 bolt? I know my MP5s love to eat up extractor springs. All you have to do is look directly at the spring and they are worn out. There's a mad max bolt head I've always wanted to try that gets rid of the wire spring. https://atlanticfirearms.com/m-a-d-bolt-head
  13. With MP5s the locking piece can be changed to affect full auto rates of fire (and recoil) by changing the timing as to when the bolt unlocks. With the redial delay or buffer type I think the only thing that can be changed is springs. Heavier spring will slow the opening but make the bolt slam closed harder. I assume JP copied the MP5 as it is the "best" option for tuning 9mm recoil
  14. What is/was tapatalk? I use chrome on my phone and it looks just like my desk top version. Was I missing out on something?
  15. Last match I shot at there was a guy that had a DAA racer master with a 3D printed body added on. So it was a regular race holster but covered the front of the gun like production type holster. This was for a non sanctioned uspsa type match for a FOP fund raiser. Wonder if that type of mod would be uspsa legal for CO?
  16. https://odinarmory.com/shop/ols/products/odinarmoryp320t/v/OA-P320-N-PVD-MTT Only $135. No way this fits in DAA holster. The little bump of the GO one let me stuff it down in there but it wasn't happy. I am sure someone will make a holster that will accommodate this. So probably $320ish to put thumb rest on sig P320 with holster...

    X5 Legion accuracy

I was thinking about the sig's slide/barrel height above the grip and looking at a M&P I used to shoot. (how awesome will the tungsten infused M&P grip be) Then I popped the top off a G-lock and was thinking about the length of the individual lugs, their shape and how the lugs would hold the slide on the frame. The sig has short lugs and shortest total frame/lug length compared to these others.

I have only shot mine with a dot. Started with DPP then switched to RTS2 10moa. Got my eye on a romeo xl now
  19. I wonder what they are doing for testing? I would think there has to be some out in the wild somewhere with a big hoss pulling the handle seeing what breaks first. Without testing and selling them letting the customer beta test is gonna be a potential mess.

I tried blues 147rn in 355 and 125tc in 356. Berry plated 147rn in 356. MG 124hp in 355. Zero 121hp in 356. Nothing shot really well. At one point I took my steel challenge ruger mark 4 out to shoot it the same day off same rest also using a 10moa rts2 to make sure I could shoot groups at 25 yards. 22 shoots fine. Legion meh

    X5 Legion accuracy

I shot a match yesterday and gun ran flawless - 2nd match I have used it in after having gun for almost 3 years. I was thinking about accuracy again last night after. I am running a 11lb recoil spring. I wonder if group sizes would change with the heavier factory recoil springs?
  22. Who makes these? Turns out I "need" one too

    X5 Legion accuracy

The 125TC 0.356 blues grouped up a lil tighter. ~3 to 4 inch vs ~5 to 6 inches with 147s. I was pushing them maybe a bit too spicy at 137 PF

I'll crank out some test rounds tonight and hopefully can sneak out to the range tomorrow. Thanks
