  1. I use a small pair of channel lock pliers (I think they are for ignition work). Just grab and pull up. No damage to anything.
  2. I have mine even lower than the low hole. I wanted a short pull. Works well as long as it is lubed pistol brass.
  3. If I remember correctly someone was injured seriously one year at the Masters shooting slugs at steel at a side match. I think they had arm or hand injuries. That is a big piece of lead coming back to you and probably very sharp.
  4. I tried this on mine but the C More always tilted to one side. I finally used a Allchin C More base for a Ruger MK II. I milled the bottom flat and used the 3 existing holes to drill and tap the Marvel rail. Looks good. If you do it drill an extra hole to get the rear screw out of the optic rail.
  5. Just got word that there will be no more of these barrels made. Treasure the ones you have.
  6. Ken Danz is the guy for info for the Sudlersville MD. match. tz9x21@atlanticbb.net
  7. Use Brownells cold blue. I think it is called Oxpho blue. It will prevent rust unlike other cold blues that will rust in a heartbeat if not kept oiled. I would rather have bare metal than standard cold blue on a part like that.
  8. WOW I can't believe it. Kevin was a great guy. I don't even know what to say. Bill
  9. You can zeo at 50 but I prefer to do it at 200 (actually my range is 200 meters) because sometimes you still need to fine tune your setting. A little off at 50 is 4 times worse at 200. If you go to 200 you can have confidence in your gun.
  10. I zero at 200 which is dead on at 50 and about 1 1/2 high at 100.
  11. I have 2 and love them. My favorite is the plain crosshairs. It has a very fine aiming point but is still easy to pick up. Not good foe extended ranges where you need holdover markings.
  12. I just got a holster and it did take longer than expected .
  13. Before you give up on it scrub it well and often with JB bore cleaner. Pay a lot of attention to scrubbing the throat. That stuff has brought a couple of my barrels back to life. Sometimes the throat gets carboned up and reular solvents won't clean it out.
  14. I will be there with my 2 sons. It will be their 1st match. I will bring my shotgun if my back feels better. Bill
  15. This match is on my "to do" list if they have it again. Next time I will take more than one gun. It is a great match.
  16. Screw in chokes help. A Ultimak rail is pretty easy to do. You could send it to Jack Travers and save yourself some time and experimenting. The one he did for me is great.
  17. You were one of the very few then. I have been told I am "special"
  18. I have just got some Tripp mags and so far they feed 100%.
