  1. You will get many opinions on this but this is what my Benelli had- 24" barrel no porting Tec loader brackets extended safety extended tube dot mounted on rib I really don't see much difference with and without porting. Others may. Good luck!
  2. You can put a Doctor sight on it and be able to switch tops. I think that is what I will end up doing.
  3. I didn't care for mine at all. I sent it back. It limits your options too much.
  4. "Nice, fun people" Don't beleive I have been with that squad before.
  5. I contacted USPSA about this a while back and that is what I was told. I see you live in Finland so I don't know what IPSC says about this. Bill
  6. You need the low pro. I don't think you would ever find a rear sight for the high rider. I never saw much use for that receiver anyway with the nice selection of mounts available. Good luck! Bill
  7. Flyin40 I have tried 3 of the Cmore railways and they all sit the same. They all lean to one side. I forget which side. Tried the C More setup on an AR15 flattop and it was perfect. The Marvel Rail doesn't come up high enough to touch the bottom of the CMore mount. CMore says that is the only mount they make. I tried putting shims between the mount and rail and that worked but looked pretty hokey so I took it off. Bill
  8. I believe the DPMS gun has a recoil spring still. You will need to take that out and put some type of detent for the bolt to be legal in MOR.
  9. Richard as far as I know there is no rule that states the mag tube can only hold 8 rds just that you can't overload the gun. Of course I could be wrong.
  10. Only thing worse than that is loading too many by mistake and getting bumped to open.
  11. I purchased mine from Eagle. I think it was adverised as a rifle case. Pretty cool as it has straps that allow you to carry the gun backpack style. It is a well built soft case. Bill
  12. I have a 9mm and wish it were a 38S. The 9 just isn't a great round in the 10 rd mags. It is a great gun if you use the 9rd 9mm mags though. Depends on what you want to do with it. Do you need 10rds?
  13. You had me going. I thought I was going to have to uphold Karls honor. Bill
  14. I give another vote to EGW. Simply fantastic! Bill
  15. I have always thought that I shoot a 19 better than a 17 and for that matter a 17 better than a 34. I shoot the 34 for production. I might have to change that. Hmmm I do feel the 34 flips more and is a bit slower cycling. Bill
  16. Does anyone have a pic of this installation? Where exactly is the rear sight dovetailed to the rib. Should/can it be mounted so the blade isn't seen while folded down? Thanks, Bill
  17. Is there a uniform set of rules for he man class? Are muzzle brakes allowed on the rifles? Any capacity restrictions? Are shotguns limited to 9 rounds? Pistols are .45 I assume. Does 45 GAP qualify? 10rd limit? Thanks for your help! Bill

    G37 for Spec Ops?

Why is it that Glock didn't use the 17 size slide because of the light weight but can build a 19 or 26 size gun with a lighter slide than the 37 has?
  19. The Leupold CQT is the only true 1X by something that I know of. I believe all the others are a bit over the 1X that is advertised. The CQT is the only one I have looked at that is as quick as a dot.
  20. I agree totally with rkgsmith. In fact I think it was my gun that convinced him. I think the Winchester is the best IPSC shotgun right now. BTW mine was tuned up by Briley. Bill
  21. I use the stuff on everything. It is especially nice on ARs. Is it worth it? I think so. I even use it on my Harley rear chain. Keeps it nice and quiet. Bill
  22. If you go Nightforce NXS you'll never go back. They are the best I have seen. Pricey but worth it. Bill
  23. Don't think it is legal for for Limited. Bill
  24. I have a 1100 20ga youth model I am playing with and it seems like it may want something more than the 7/8oz loads. Anyone else have one of these? Of course I want the wimpiest ( sorry tactical) loads that will work. Do they usually need any break in or are they good to go out of the box? Thanks Bill
