I used to clean My Schueman open gun barrels with an eletronic/liquid bore cleaner (I forget the name of that thing) and my guns would always shoot larger groups after cleaning till they were shot a bit. Needless to say I don't bother to clean hangun barrels much any more.

Where do you get a NM front sight for a SOCOM? I really do not care for the big front sight on mine, especially with the short sight radius.

Don't let this one thing make a great match look bad. As Larry said the lighting changes made things more difficult. This was one of my last stages and the targets were very hard to see clearly at even 4X. Maybe some rifle knockdown targets may be the answer even though resetting would take much longer (not a good thing). The spotting of hits is often a problem on flashers. The shooter is often at the mercy of the spotter as far as speed goes. People get tired and mistakes get made. Alot of us don't have great vision anymore. A least with knockdowns there is no question.

The match was very well rounded with something for everyone. Everything went very smooth on our squad with very few backups. We had a blast. You guys did one heck of a job. Thanks again!

I sent 4 back for replacement and should have them back any day. Mine never fed the 1st round.

My favorites are the Nightforce 1X4 and the Leupold CQT 1X3.

I have a Jewell 2 stage in a 700 and it is sweet. If I had to do it over again I would get a single stage though.

I have never seen one. Is it even possible? From what I rememeber (shows how much I shoot my Mini) don't you have to rock the mags in so they lock in?

Stay away from SARCO. A friend bought one of their kits and had to send it back. It was a lot of junk.

I have an old Colt Official Police and a Colt Cobra that both need a little action work. I don't need smoothing up, just need to make them work. Are there any gunsmiths that excel in this type of gun? If they were S&Ws it would be a piece of cake. Thanks for any help.

1 1050 and 1 550. The 550 is for all the asst. calibers you don't shoot much. the 1050 for the high volume.

I bet BOTACH still sends the boots. They are funny like that.

The GSG-9s are sized pretty much like sneakers. The problem is I have different size sneakers/boots too depending on the maker.

I have a 9mm Sprinfield and have found that unlike other guns my 9mm likes a 15# to get it back on target the quickest. The light springs felt slow and jerky.

OOPS I forgot. I had the Smith rings but I prefer the Seekins over them.

Botach is not the best company to deal with but eventually I have received everything I have ordered and they are THE best price on Adidas. I have the new style boots and so far like them. They are more comfortable than the old ones but I haven't given them a good muddy IPSC match test for traction and waterproofing.

I just put a set of Seekins rings on my 700 and they really impressed me with the quality. The good thing about these rings is the can be ordered with two torx bolts instead of a large nut sticking out to catch on everything.

I had a follower break in one of mine in 45. Baer replaced it but I don't trust the mags now. They would not be my 1st choice.

Bullets down and back works for me.
