Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I drove out to the range last week to sign up as a member and got to drive around to the different ranges. It looks like it is going to be a great place for a 3 gun match. Too bad there is no trooper class as this place would be a great test if you had to carry all your gear between stages. The bays are really spread out, this is not like FB3G. Larry, is there going to be shuttles between stages or do I need to add power assist to my 3 gun cart? See everyone (I am also RO'ing) in November! -mike-
  2. Larry, Need any RO help? I am only about 20 mins away if I stay at my dads in Winchester. Let me know. -mike whitman-
  3. I just looked at the rules and it looks like there is no OPEN class either! -mike-
  4. Rules just posted! http://www.fb3g.com/home.html NO TROOPER CLASS! (Sorry Larry) The rules for the Ft Benning 3 Gun Challenge are now posted on the match website: http://www.fb3g.com/home.html Changes from the 2009 Rules: • Please note that Trooper is no longer recognized by the match. If you registered as a Trooper, please notify me to let me know which division you plan to shoot at the match, or to request a refund if you prefer not to change divisions, • Also, the match will allow 1X optics in Tactical Irons, in addition to iron sights. • And, for Tactical Shotguns, there is a strict 8 rounds maximum in the tube (ghost loading is not allowed). Linda Chico (L-2035) 2010 Ft Benning 3 Gun Statistician
  5. Alan, Do we have to pre-register or just show up? -mike-
  6. As one of the RO's on stage 3 all weekend long, a big THANK YOU goes out to all the open shooters for the ringing that I am still hearing at 1:30 in the morning on Monday! Seriously, it was great seeing all the shooters having a good time and keeping the stage moving by helping out between shooters. It makes the 2 days in the sun/rain worth it. Everyone should support a match by helping to work one even if it is a local match. I hope to see everyone at a future match. -mike- p.s. they left most of the props up on stages 3-8 for the next local match so we will get to have some more fun in a couple of weeks.
  7. Sorry Jim. I do not know of any caves on the range and after you have shot in a real cave, shooting in invented darkness has all of the passion of kissing my sister. Please note I did not say "your sister" since I have never met her. But we have never kissed "your" sister, it could be really exciting. Especially since she has a brother that is armed!
  8. #47! Thanks Linda and Good Night! Why don't you quit now and pick it back up in the AM.
  9. Everyone is #1 on the userlist. It puts your own username (if you are logged in) first!
  10. The whole Trooper division would OK that since there were only 11 of us!
  11. Linda, Not a bad guess, just over a month till the AMU said 2010 is a go! Now to wait for the sign up race. -mike-
  12. Just posted on Facebook from the AMU!!!! U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit Due to the overwhelming demand, the USAMU is proud to announce that we will host the 2010 Fort Benning 3-Gun Challenge from 3-5 Dec 2010. - LTC Hodne, Commander Ok, let the waiting begin!
  13. Thanks, but I was looking for the sweatshirts that the AMU was selling in the vendor tent. The say "US Army Shooting Team" on the back and the AMU shield on the front.
  14. Does the AMU have a website where you can buy the sweatshirts they were selling at the match? I got home and my wife has hijacked mine!
