  1. Rich --- if you actually would like one to play with, Borks Guns in Cody, WY has one in their case at a fair price. A consignment piece with at least two mags and appears to be in very nice condition, in 38 Super. Call Tony at 307-587-9661 if you're interested.
  2. I always ask for pictures. I'll also ask if they can take a pix of something unusual, say from the top of the slide, or from the muzzle. Just trying to insure they actually have the firearm in their possession. No pix=no deal for me!
  3. Stuart -- come see me, I'll put ya to work if ya don't mind bustin' azz & gettin' up at 4:30!
  4. I'll be darned! I've been doing that with a Lee "factory crimp" die by removing the adjustable depth stem and then pushing the cases though on my Rockchucker press. I used a bullet seating stem from a Hornaday 40/10mm die set that fit the ram of my Rockchucker perfectly, to push them mouth-first through the die. Been doin' that with all 40 S&W & 9mm brass that I buy & don't know what it's been shot out of for probably the last ten or twelve years.
  5. +1000 for Kolar! They did a magnificent job on my Kolar combo with a "Twisted Sister" stock!
  6. 1500 homeless in Eugene?? WOW! Most of 'em on purpose? That is a huge number for sure!
  7. Mrs. Titandriver and her elderly husband, the inimitable Mr. Titandriver!
  8. The overall match winner in the previous six years has NEVER been a comped/dot-sight Glock.
  9. C'mon Bret, come clean!! I've been in Billings the past couple of days and I didn't see you or your folks!!!!!
  10. Probably increase it ten-fold! I don't think they'd allow you rowdy biker types in the city limits though -- so NO milkshake for you!!!
  11. If my failing memory serves me correctly, Idaho (Nampa specifically) held the 10th Anniversary Area 1 Championship in 1992. Were you born yet Trav? I'm pretty certain Utah hosted one of the very first Area 1 champs sometime in the late 80's.
  12. I heard there were TWO Texas Stars at 75 yards! And you had to clean 'em to unlock a door so you could engage the other 18 targets in the stage! Killer stuff, wish I could make it!

Dadnabbit dude, and I thought I stunk up the place!
  14. TGibby --- you know that Tim hurts himself bad shootin' just one gun; ya wanna cripple him for life havin' him running around shootin' three?
  15. TGibby --- let me know all of the changes that were made that you are aware of during this match please. Absolutely NO no-shoot targets were added unless somebody did it without my permission! The fact that some dumbasses move targets, both shoot or no-shoot, is blatant cheating by somebody(s)! I am aware of one stage where a no-shoot was shifted a bit, but that is it. Outright cheating like this is what kills matches! I will STRONGLY recommend that cash prizes be eliminated next year and only trophies handed out. Might curb some of the cheating, glad my tenure with this match is over!
  16. Hey!!!! That's the same weekend as the Wyoming state champs in Casper!!!
  17. C'mon Jim --- you know the adage: if it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is!!
  18. +100 JoBob!! Can't tell ya how many times I've been asked if steel-framed "Glocks" will still be considered as Glocks for the Idaho State Glocks Only Championship match! My rejoinder is always the same: if it don't say Glock, Inc., Smyrna, GA on the frame then it ain't a Glock!!! Oh yeah --- still needin' funds for the new sled, check out my classified ad please!
