  1. I am going start the paper work on this 629 carry comp soon.
  2. I will be getting the conversion done as well to my 627pc.
  3. I liked it, worth the purchase price. Might just have to watch it again tomorrow night
  4. I cannot wait. It is going to be a good fall this year
  5. I enjoyed. Defiantly going to purchase t when it comes out on blu ray
  6. Looks like fun. I enjoy driving my 05 gto. Nothing like that power under your right foot to make a boring drive just a little more fun
  7. I usually send my money to the second amendment foundation as well as the calguns foundation.
  8. Here is ca the ca doj sent out letters to ffl's saying they need to start collect sales tax and estimated value of the guns they are transferring from out of state. Some ffl's collect and others don't. I transfer my guns from those that don't.
  9. Even if their was a problem with selling the gun the ffl in ca would take the heat and not the seller from out of state.
  10. Same with the tab function not locating to the next box.
  11. Same thing happened here in California, said they need more money then all the companies just leave the state to avoid collecting the taxes. Did not see that one coming
  12. Every place around here is way over priced and has a minimal used section. I have no interest in new guns. Thank god for the Internet.

I love my Jp rifle and agree about the customer service. They can keep the cheesy videos though.
  14. Don't waste your money on pc, get the cheapest 625 you can find in the barrel length you want and send it off to one of the smiths listed here and you'll be good to go.
  15. I would go with 5 inch when possible. If the weigh is too much you could have the underlug milled off so you get the sight radius and without the heavy front end. Don't know if this would work or not but you might even be able to have a 1917 barrel fit so you could have the long sight radious with a tapered barrel, will defiantly not be front heavy.
  16. -5 is the way to go. Plus the p&r usually run a premium with most s&w buyers.
  17. I always get the looks when I bring out the Dan wesson.
  18. Herrett's Jordan Troopers. The Jordan herrett's are great grips. They fit me and my large hands well. They are shown on my 25-5 in the top. The grips put the pad of my finger perfectly on the trigger. I shot most accurately with them compared to other grips that I have tried.
  19. I have this set of nills on my 625. They are may favorite use/range grips. The fit and finish are excellent and they feel great in my hand. But my favorite set of grips is this set on my 27-2
  20. I would get the 66 for competition, or better yet a 686. The space between the charge holes would be crazy hard to reload fast.
  21. I like the original S&W wood combat grips. Though they are expensive, around 150. I prefer the way the combat grips from the early 90's with the slightly flat sides shown in first pick in thr upper right not on a gun compared to the older style with a more rounded side shown in the second pick.
  22. Forgot to add, here is the link http://smith-wessonforum.com/s-w-revolvers-1980-present/165901-moonclip-storage-update-version-2-0-a.html
  23. A guy over on S&W forum made this to fit in an ammo can. Looks real nice.
  24. I would shoot it. Take the grips off before you do. They could be worth a good amount of coin.
