Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. The 625 will be much easier to shot than the 646, so will the 610. I have a 625, a 646 and 2 610's. If you want a real challenge try and find the 3" 610
  2. Thanks, so it sounds like I would need roughly 3 inches of counter top overhang on the bench?
  3. I am building my reloading bench and will be installing an LNL press at a later date. How much overhang of the bench top do I need? Thanks
  4. If you really want a 6" just find a take off 44 mag barrel on gun broker and get it reamed out and installed.
  5. I like my gold bead front sight on my casual shooters. Here is a nice picture of my registered magnum that came with a call bead.
  6. They are too small for my big hands. I like large smooth grips that cover the backstrap. Nills and Jordan style grips are my preference.
  7. I wouldn't do anything to modify the grips you have. I would sell the then buythe new ones outright. If you modify them and do like it they will be very hard to Flickr something else. Here are mine on my 625's.
  8. The cylinder can be cut for moon clips so you can shoot 45 acp and 45 colt.
  9. I have been wanting a 3 inch 610 pretty bad. If I was going to carry an n frame it would either be a 627 or 629 if in the woods. The 310 does not really do anything well, if you are going to have a 6 shooter you would be better off with a 41 mag or 44 mag. If you don't need something that powerful than the extra 2 shots are worth it.
  10. That is a good price. They have beengoing for near 1k on line as s&w has stopped making them. The previous versions don't have the lock if that is important to you.
  11. Just get a regular hand, no need for oversized. The floating hand is one of the first things I replace. You might be able to find some used ones on gunbroker but you have to go through all the parts lists to find what you want.
  12. I collect guns more than I shoot. Maybe that is something that would interest you. The hunt forthat hard to find or rare gun can give you good feelings when you find what you are looking for at a good price.
  13. I hate when my boss tells me I need to get "buy in" from my staff. People need to get over their feelings and just do the work.
