For a happy girl friend try a heavy bullet and a fast powder at minor, they shoot soft and are quiet. Also with very little powder you get very little gas to work the comp so their is a pretty good chance it will run with the same spring as your major load.

a couple concerns from what I have read, if a shot from the start location was for some reason dangerous, making ready in a alternate location does nothing to solve the issue after the start signal so the stage needed to be modified to remove the hazard. if the concern was an AD into a barrel vs not and for some reason the barrels presented a real ricochet hazard (heavy gauge steel?) then asking the shooter to step to the side would be reasonable, asking them to walk down range seems odd. my theory for being an RO is I am not there to "RUN" the shooter I am just there as a safety check and to ensure an equitable competition. if there was a way to not be there and perform these duties that would be best but its not so I strive to be as little disruption to the shooter as possible, it is there stage to run, from the shooter stepping up to make ready till range is clear I'm just there to watch.

^^^^^ this Look at the NRR rating of your ear pro. Most foam plus are around 30, a large portion of the muffs I see are low 20s (yes you can get good ones but that takes a little effort) then you put some glasses on, breaking the seal between your head and the muff and they do even less

wait a list of guns with no way to know what is what, is not a great solution for having easy and equally enforced rules? at least you had an RO that was attempting to enforce the rules (incorrectly however as you can only be bumped to open for non compliance with division requirements 6.2.5.1) we went through 2 USPSA Production nationals where the rules at the time of the match prohibited a plastic grip plug in a GLOCK, I strongly suspect that many if not most of the GLOCKS at those matches had them, yet nobody was moved to open for it, so either I am wrong and everyone knew they were illegal and removed them or something this obvious and easily checked was not either checked or enforced. sorry for the rant but rules that can not or are not always enforced and enforced equally are bad for the sport.

What we have been doing for re shoots is have the shooter add themselves as a wallk on on the stage nook after their first run(that way you are sure their first entry gets the first try score) then reshoot and enter the new score under their new entry. When we sync everything up at the end their second entry gets a 2 added to the name by practiscore and we can create the classifier report on the Ipad and upload to USPSA. The only issue with not deleting them from the match, results wise, is if the reshoot sets a new high hit factor fit their division. IF that happens you will want to delete the entry after making the classifier report then upload the match results If you don't manually delete their second entry they will show up on the results but that's not a issue any of the local shooters have mentioned to me, and they are normally quick to let me know if they don't like something.

You, get to be the RO that has to count to 30 all the time. I am pretty sure nobody will count that high while running shooters so that makes it a rule that will not be properly enforced, that sounds like a bad way to start a division.

As a MD if I can talk my ranges BOD into allowing them (range policy on pistol bays) I can guarantee I will change nothing in the stages I design and set up. I believe the whole point of adding PCC is because there are shooters that want to shoot them on the stages we are presenting now. Changing the stages is the last thing those interested in shooting PCC want, they have seen (and probably shot) our stages and want to shoot them with their carbine, walls. ports, odd angled leans, weak and strong side only, all of it. So far as I can tell the only "change" that has been talked about is start positions for the PCCs only, and even I'm smart enough to be able to remember that the guys with the long guns start facing down range.

Can shoot in all the games is probably the wrong question. You CAN shoot just about anything without an optic in all three games. I think you are looking for a list of guns that will be competitive in the three different games in one of the popular divisions in each game. So assuming multi gun TO, IDPA SSP, and USPSA Production you probably want something like a G34 (or 17) or Smith M+P if you like striker fired guns or a CZ 75 (or variant) or P09 , a Tanfoglio limited pro if you prefer traditional DA pistols. The Springfield XDm will work for all the but you will end up in ESP All the above would be 9mm You can also have a ton of fun shooting a 9mm 2011 in all three games in TO, limited(shooting minor), and ESP you just need to get one with a short dust cover so it's IDPA legal

With a GLOCK 17 production gun I run about .16-.18 on a 7yd target. With my 627 Revo .25 is about my limit

What is the use of a incomplete list of what some of those non legal items may be What it does do is allow certain things to be deemed illegal without having to wait for 2 years between equipment rule changes. (wait, did I just say that? ) No it doesn't. D4-21 would allow things to be made legal through a DNROI ruling without the 2 year wait. remember in Production EVERYTHING is illegal unless it is specifically allowed (D4-21 and DNROI rulings) D4-22 is a list of illegal things that says to start off that it is not a complete list. If EVERYTHING that is not listed in the rules and rulings is illegal why do we have a list of what some of those items are? also I have seen high ranking officials erroneously use the list in D4-22 to say something IS legal when the rule itself says it cant do that.

I have seen something like that (the failed to parse match data part, I don't remember the code stuff) it happened to me when I made a change to the entry form options after registration started. I believe what happens is the data gets jumbled because it doesn't all match so the system just says no. the guys at support are GREAT and will help you get the match downloaded, you may end up loosing some of the entry data in the process so its a good idea to go through the match and your online registration information to make sure they match. (when I had this issue I lost my classes ,junior, lady, ect) Mike

I'd be willing to bet Carmonys hammers are pretty light. I know my hammer that I cut down similar to a picture of his work is lighter than the apex in my other gun

for posting to practiscore the best advice I can give is decide a name for your match (club name, location, your favorite color, whatever) and use it the same way when you name you match when you make the match in Praciscore. this way when people search for the match they only need to enter one search and they will get all your matches. a nice thing is to figure out if there is all ready another club with a similar name to what you are thinking (easy to check just search for it) if there is try something else. I got lucky, there are no other clubs using names that start DUN so thats ull anyone needs to enter to find all of our matches.

I just updated a bunch of nooks and ran into one of your issues. The pre installed icon on the home page quit working but I could go to the apps page and open it there. To fix this you need to unlock the home screen and delete that icon then put the new app icon back on the home screen. To unlock the home screen, hit the little button at the top of the screen that is a circle with three lines in it (the right hand one of the two tiny icons in the center of the header) then in the window that opens hit more then hit unlock screen, then hold on the old icon until a window opens then hit delete remove then hit the file icon to see all the installed apps (file at the bottom center of screen) and lastly drag the PS icon back to the home screen. If you want you can relock the home screen

For those saying as close as possible with standard measuring equipment you do understand that a regular old tape measure, measures to about .030 (1/32") What I use as a rule of thumb is does whatever inaccuracy affect the actual shooting challenge? Targets not properly overlayed with no shoots and or hardcover would be a big problem as it directly affects scoring on the target. A target that is only 4'-10" at the shoulder because the rock that is our bay floor has shifted and let the target sticks sink, I don't see as a problem. Targets that are supposed to be 2' off the centerline that somehow end up 26" probably not a problem either, unless it causes a issue with other targets in the stage. With most of the target stands I have seen there could be that much movement during the day just from squads tapping and resting the targets all day

Ok what rule is that? I see where the rules mention unless the WSB says something else mags come from your pouches. That makes it pretty clear that the WSB Can stipulate something else. Sure like staging them on barrels.Can you show me where that limit is? Not saying it makes for great stages, but you have stated it's against the rules

why would using your mag pouches after the beep be different, in relation to freestyle, than mandating carrying something? I'm not trying to be a pain I just don't understand your argument that some kinds of limitations from the WSB are OK during the course of fire but this particular one is not. I am not saying that having lots of limitations in the WSB is a good thing, just that it is legal

IMO, an illegal stage as it violates freestyle after the buzzer. would you also say a stage requiring you to hold or carry something while shooting is also illegal? that would fall under the same not freestyle after the buzzer would it not? Freestyle is not limiting how you solve the problem presented it has no bearing on the problem itself. in the case in question the problem is where you can and cannot put you ammo
