Finally read the FAQs

Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

  1. I've only got the 18rd mags that came with my Shadows. Does the gap between the basepad and frame bother anyone? I'm kind of OCD and it just looks odd to me, but not sure if it would actually be a bother.
  2. Other than finish, what's the difference between a II and III?
  3. I installed mine last night, and I'm kind of on the fence so far. It's definitely not a typical Glock feeling trigger. I'll try tweaking the pre-travel and reset screws and see how it feels. I think my Vanek trigger is adjustable as well, but I've never played with the adjustments, so this is a first for me. I'm not knocking it. I just haven't had time to get used to it, or make any adjustments. But it feels as though there's a lot of stacking, and then it almost breaks with no pressure. It's just a different feel.
  4. And I understand I'm not going to get a 1911 trigger, it's still a Glock Just saying that's the direction I'd like to shoot for, if there's a drop-in kit that has more of that type of feel
  5. The Bladetech that's in the Ben Stoeger kit, can you take it off the hanger and wear it in IDPA, etc?
  6. I'm not trying to get to zero pre-travel. I'd like to be around #3, but as "crisp" as possible with the most tactile reset I can get. More crisp and less rolling, if that's possible.
  7. Can someone who's used both compare or describe the feel? I just put a Zev Ultimate kit in a new G34, and it's ok...just wasn't blown away Thinking about trying the DK kit, and wondering how the feel is different
  8. Just wondering which models to look at if I'd like the upswept SP01 style beavertail, but the 75 style dust cover? The SA, the Omega, and what else?
  9. You're right, that's a much better way to put it... And what is TO?
  10. That's exactly what I was looking for, just a list of pistols that would work in all 3 Thanks
  11. I did a search but couldn't find an answer.... I'm looking for a list of pistols that would be legal to shoot in 3 gun, USPSA, and IDPA. As in, a single pistol you could shoot in all 3 sports.
  12. I'm definitely considering it, especially since it's just up the street from me. And I just started listening to Ben's podcast a few weeks ago and ordered his book and dvd.
  13. I'm really tempted to take this class as well. Just trying to decide if it's over my head.
  14. I was really thinking about pistol shooting books and dvds that might be good for beginners who are serious about learning to shoot or might like to compete
