    Arguing Slaves

I agree! Especially when they argue over which is better, Gold or Silver chains. Don't they get it? While Gold chains look better they are almost as heavy as lead. The Silver chains lay lighter allowing them to carry more and work harder! Nolan Skilled, but otherwise unremarkable.

    Party Time

Happy Birthday Patrick! How about this for an avatar? Nolan Skilled, but otherwise unremarkable.
  3. Dave, Did the ejector just drop into the holes or did you have to force it into place. If you had to tap it into place the holes may be slightly angled, too far apart, or too close together putting stress on the ejector legs. Nolan Skilled, but otherwise unremarkable.
  4. Yeah, shoot a stock Colt 1911. If you want to be a Grand Jammer shoot a stock AMT Hardballer. Nolan Skilled, but otherwise unremarkable.

    Pain

Great post! So all I have to do is become the Ass (Donkey) and stop being just the exit orifice! Nolan Skilled, but otherwise unremarkable according to Post #26
  8. And always seems to start with the gun pointed at the target! Nolan Skilled, but otherwise unremarkable according to Post #26
  9. OK, I apologize to Rob Boudrie for thread jacking his IPSC related license plate thread. A while back I spotted a import mini-van with this license plate: 4BBL383 while it's not a personalized plate it lead to the unhappy thought that someday soon here in the Peoples Republic of Kaliefornia there will probably be a Hyundai with the license plate: 6PAK440 Man, that's just wrong! The worst part, you can't even order that for a personalized plate! Anyway post the funniest plates you've seen, want, or thought about. US2BHIS on a silver Corvette. 10. I use Hornady One Shot, sparingly. Let the lube set up for a couple of minutes before putting it in the case feeder. Nolan Skilled, but otherwise unremarkable.

  12. Yup, it was being driven by a very LARGE bald headed black gentleman. I still wonder what he told the DMV it meant! Nolan Skilled, but otherwise unremarkable
  13. Hello MythBusters!!!! Nolan Skilled, but otherwise unremarkable.
  14. Sorry for the thread drift, but I saw this one on a BIG black Mercedes in San Jose, Ca. N I D B L G A It took me a minute to figure out (obviously the DMV didn't!) Nolan Skilled, but otherwise unremarkable.
  15. It's not a real license plate (because I don't want my real license # on the internet) but here's a photo of my favorite. Nolan Skilled, but otherwise unremarkable.
  16. Ding! Correct answer. Vanna, what prize do we have for contestant number 3? 2 D cell batteries! Nolan Skilled, but otherwise unremarkable.
  17. That reminds me of the Steve Martin movie "LA" (I think?) Similar circumstances, except the lights go out during a dinner party. In the dark you hear..."Ah, I've found the flashlight", CLICK, Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz! About that time the lights come back on and it's not a flashlight! Nolan Skilled, but otherwise unremarkable.
  18. Unfortunately it's pretty rough on the little "Mom & Pop" video stores. Meimei owns a video rental store, between B'buster, H'wood & Netflix her business is seriously down. If it weren't for the Fillipino, Chinese, and Adult movies which so far the Big 3 aren't renting she would be out of business. Nolan Skilled, but otherwise unremarkable.
  19. Wow, a hose festival while wearing Galoshes! Nolan Skilled, but otherwise unremarkable.
  20. Erik, Whenever I Chrono I bring a reference gun and ammo. I use my plain Jane stock Buckmark .22 and CCI Mini-Mag ammo. I bought a brick of ammo just for checking the Chrono. As soon as I set up the Chrono I run 10 rounds of the .22 and compare with the last time I Chrono'd. If the Chrono won't read the .22 because of sun, etc... I don't waste my test ammo. Once I get the Chrono reading OK with the .22 ammo then I'm in business. Could be you're having Chrono problems and not powder/bullet problems. Nolan Skilled, but otherwise unremarkable.
  21. 45 Gap in a 45 ACP gun is about the same as shooting 38 Special in a .357 Mag. or .40 S&W in a 10mm. What was really funny was watching a guy at the public range shooting 357 Sig out of a Glock chambered in .40 S&W. POP! #$%^& rack the slide, POP! *&^%$# rack the slide, POP! Finally he figured out he had the wrong gun and very sheepishly bagged the .40 and got out the correct Glock. Why the heck don't they color code the guns? You know pink for .22, yellow for 38 Special, green for 9mm, blue for .357, red for .44, etc... Nolan Skilled, but otherwise unremarkable.
  22. I still get a lot of complaints about the hoser videos I post on my website. "What's the challenge of a stage like that?" "Anybody can yank the trigger like that!" "That looks boring!" etc.... Yeah so come to the match and do it! Then they'll complain that smiling that much makes their faces hurt! I'm sorry I missed the Ione match, it sounded like my kind of stage. So far the best I've done is a 30 round stage in 7+ seconds. 7.8 seconds TASC had a 18 round stage this weekend that I managed to shoot with a limited gun in 5.29 seconds with maybe 4 foot of movement required. I'll try to post a video of it when I get a chance. Sucky 1.2 sec draw Nolan Skilled, but otherwise unremarkable.
  23. My luck with Midway case gauges hasn't been very good. I bought a 45acp case gauge that worked OK until I actually got a match grade barrel. The fired cases out of the BarSto barrel almost rattled around in the case gauge and I forgot to spray it down with Sheath so it rusted badly. The recess for the rim area was off center on the first Midway 38 Super gauge that I bought. I returned it and they replaced it with no problem. The second gauge worked great, but I forgot to spray it down with Sheath and it rusted badly. Since I'm a slow learner I bought a .40 case gauge from Midway and none of my long loaded .40 rounds would pass the case gauge. At the time I was loading Billy Bullets Moly coated lead bullets which were a little bit fat so I just reamed the 'bullet' portion of the case gauge. Gee, they all still fail the case gauge. When I measured the case gauge it was waaay short. Dan Ruff fixed that for me and it worked great until I forgot to spray it with Sheath so of course it rusted. I replaced them with Dillon gauges that I'm still using umpteen years later. Nolan Skilled, but otherwise unremarkable.
  24. The case gauge needs to be smaller than your chamber, so I don't recommend having it reamed the same size as your chamber. I also don't recommend using the barrel as a case gauge. The case gauge surrounds the rim 100%, the barrel has cutouts for the extractor and the feed ramp. If a bulged round happens to go in the barrel just right the bulge may clear the feed ramp cutout and it will appear the round is OK. I can just about guaranty it won't be oriented that way on match day! That same round will not pass a good case gauge. I agree with Flex that some of the Midway case gauges are tighter than Dillon's, but some of them are also shorter, some are off center, others are looser, and in my hands all of them rust instantly. Nolan Skilled, but otherwise unremarkable
