Inside of inner belt to the side of the gun against the body. I have a bladetech holster I modified as an offset non drop holster and love it

Under what under 10.5. Are you saying the muzzle Position while in the holster isn't to your liking as it may face back or up. If so then you would Need to dq every shooter who goes prone How is the ability for the holster to retain the gun an issue if it dosent fall out. There are plenty of holsters being used which have very poor retention which are still allowed. If his gun is vertical the retention obviously works.

If the pistol is considered safe in the holster in regards to sweeping then the angle will not matter. The 3 foot rule is for holstering as guns trigger is exposed which is not the case in a holster. If the gun did not fall out and may not have fallen out then it shouldn't have not been a dq. By that logic if the to feels a gun may fall out if the holster then the shooter should be dq when it has not fallen out if the holster. I know in my race holster I would have no issue holding the gun upside down and shaking it as it is not coming out when locked. If you wanted to stop the shooter then a reshoot should have been given but it dosent look like a dq was warranted until a rule was broken. It's like if you see someone getting ready to break the 180 but have not yet done so you can basically let them do it and dq them or you block them and possibly cause to interference and they get a reshoot but you don't dq based on what may happen

What about handgun in the holster breaking the 180 as that happens every tune a shooter goes prone. How would the time the handgun matter if its safe in the holster for 15 seconds then it should be safe for the whole stage.

It does not apply to a holstered handgun. http://www.uspsa.org/uspsa-NROI-ruling-details.php?indx=46

5 foot headshot? I am going off the index even with a no shoot. Heck I don't even turn my dot on for can you count -
ya slide will crack eventually you got your use out of it
-
I would say it was the wrong call. The gun in the holster is inert. Ever see a 3 gun match where the shooter goes prone with a rifle with the pistol in the holster, I know I have guess which direction the loaded gun is pointed. What about a "bed" start that muzzle while holstered can go any which way when the shooter gets up as long as the gun is safe when its drawn from the holster

I would simply trade the grip out with someone. Bobby does quality work and in sure someone would swap a new grip for one of his

Avoid the lonewolf. It appears to be poorly made and they made it for looks over function and took way to much out if it with holes going both vertical and horizontal. As a result there have been very large numbers of them breaking very early in their life

Always installed my flat sides rears with a simple wooden or nylon punch as its not that difficult to do with a vice

Sti trubor barrel for steel challenge it is t bad to use a ss open gun but for uspsa your wayyy under gunned running with guys with 30 rounds in the gun or more. For steel challenge a minor load is the way to go with a light bullet and a gassy powder like hs 6 etc

Ya steel challenge is 1 shot each in 5 plates. If you run and need a reload reload speed dosent matter as you already jacked the run up -

The advantage is if you shoot irons also it indexes the same. Run one here for that reason. If I shot open only the verticle was fine but swapping back and forth it didn't work for me -

The flat has no curve to it it followed the lines of the gun. The arched has a bump in it and feels Closer to the glock grip wise -
Don't have them avaliable but the glock takes more work to shoot than the sti
-
Is your grip stock or reproduced ie reduced. A grip reduction and a button can help a good bit
-
Have a 2011 as well as a glock open gun and the 2011 is definitely a nicer flatter shooting gun. I had the SJC mount installed and the ejection port lowered by carver but other than that it was pieced together with no changes to the extractor, ejector etc. It runs and is used as a backup gun to my sti as It was much cheaper and really couldn't justify a second STI to use as a backup, or when the main gun is getting worked on

I think alot of the people buying it right now are placing it on armslist, gunbroker etc. Armslist looks just like a list of walmarts inventory at 2-3 times the price. Gunbroker, everytime a large place releases ammo cheap it ends up marked way up on gun broker. Cabelas has stopped the mass ordering now by placing limits on ammo(they use to be a huge source for the flippers) It will really take people to quit buying off these sites at the prices as the guys doing it are making a ton of tax free income off it. Take away the reason to buy like that and they are out of the buying market It will take a few months at least
