Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. It is the STI recoil master light, but not sure of the spring weight. You might call STI?
  2. I ended up using the 9 lb spring, it felt good and ran great. I am in love with my Steelmaster!
  3. All finished and she feels great! I bought this gun from Oak Hill, so I guess it is my new Oak Hill custom gun.
  4. Started working on mine, going slow and it is starting to feel better. I will keep working at it and post pics when finished. It is making a real difference in my grip! Thanks for sharing fellas! Much appreciated.
  5. What weight recoil spring in a STI Steelmadter with a full length guide rod? Using Freedom Munitions remanufactured ammo. 124 gr. 9 mm.
  6. I am in envy of that job. I am going to try on my own, so I my not be able to do the frame part .
  7. Ssanders, that is a beautiful job! Did you have to refinish the frame?
  8. Nice pic! I like that reduction. Did you do it yourself?
  9. Has anyone slim downed their grip safety? Specifically the corner right behind the thumb safety. I have small hands and am shooting a 2011 and would like to get a little more thumb meat on the thumb safety. The grip has already been reduced and a small MSH installed. Pics of any mods you have made would be greatly appreciated!
  10. I have the same problem as the young man who started this post. Are there exercises too help develop using both eyes instead of the tape or chapstick? Is it important or more important to shoot with both eyes open when shooting a gun equipped with a red dot sight?
  11. I had this exact same thing happen to me recently when I put a new slide stop in my Edge. I was afraid to shoot it, and tried a different new slide stop that ended up working just fine. I measured the OD of the old to new slide stop, with the new being 0.03 of an inch wider,
  12. Bunchies, this why I threw the question up on the forum to see if anyone would defend it and how. Because I am sure someone would fight it the day of the match. Like you, I think it is probably legal, especially at a level I match. Why not use poles and rope to dictate what you want to achieve on the stage?
