    LW Slides

Have one on a 24 and have had no issues with it
  2. It's not hard at all to pick parts that still make weight. On my 9mm which is heavier by a little because if the barrel being thicker isn't hard to make weight with the right parts. I wanted the bigger Dawson magwell with the steel arched msh and vz grips. For that combo to work I have gone with the aluminum msh(Dawson didn't make it when I it the magwell) or loose the guide rod and go aluminum or gi setup. I went GI to give me more of a cushion. On your setup the magwell is what gets you as that setup is heavy and still smaller than the larger Dawson
  3. Are you shooting it for production as a 34 slide on a gen 2 frame is a no go as glock never made that configuration. If it's for limited or 3 gun I would add a lone wolf blind marked slide
  4. I agree on the low ports chuck for taller shooters.
  5. I'm scheduled to shoot Friday and work it fri/sat. As of now it looks like I will be working both days and shooting neither
  6. More of a chance of a fumble looking away from the gun. Consistancy is more important than anything else
  7. The ALS needs no hood to disengage as it's always locked when you holster it. It's so easy to disengage it you don't even think about it and it dosent cost time doing so
  8. Use a retention holster ether the gcode or blade tech. Too many guns have fallen out of a std kydex holster
  9. http://m.dillonprecision.com/mcontent/p/9/catid/22/pid/25869/Safariland_Model_6377_ALS_holster_Glock_34_35 That is the basic one. You can add a low or medium drop and a qls as well
  10. Your better off sticking with one holster and being consistent.
  11. When I use one it's usually horizontal on the back I usually use a mag where no load is needed during a cof. If it is a mandatory classifier of the belt reload I run a 20 rounder bullets forward where my pistol mag usually is and index it like a pistol mag
  12. I would say at this point your practice efforts are better placed toward other efforts. 8 in 6 seconds or less and your not gonna have trouble at a match. The difference in trying to knock off a half a second or so on 8 shells is a waste as that time could be used for other things that save much more time. It's like horsepower on a car you can get to a point easily then every little bit costs a ton after a point. One who can do a consistent 8 in 6seconds on MATCH conditions will not be loosing a match because of loading
  13. Run an outlaw match and do whatever you want. For multi gun matches uspsa is rarely used
  14. I'll take them all day long as I have no use for lp primer 45 brass. I keep my press set up for spp and use it for everything. There really is no advantage to lp 45 other than people wanna stick to tradition
  15. The sti massive button hangs out too far for me and I'm not a fan. I prefer the shooters connection Buffon or the Dawson as a second choice. If you run a button replace the light mag release spring with a std one or even an extra power one. The light one they usually ship them with works great with no button but can cause that issue if you run a button
  16. Shooters connection vote here. Good price fast shipping and the support the sport
  17. What kind of sight are you running in the pistol? If it's a slide ride site loose the CR speed holster for 3 gun and get one that is a more conventional holster for 3 gun that has retention.
  18. Bladed stance lean forward and your weight on your leading foot. If you have those those lines of targets like they do lock the upper body on place and pivot with the lower body like a tank turret and go smooth across the line and don't try to muscle the gun to the targets
  19. The nice guns is you can find them are the ASE gold and ASE 90 that they quit making when they brought Out the DT10. Those guns were a top notch gun that the DT10 wasn't even close to
  20. The clam shell with the insert that replaces the bolt and a lower receiver mag insert to hold the gun are avaliable several places as a set in the 50 buck range or less. Add an armor wrench and your good to go
  21. Mine is a 6 inch which I like for the site radius. With a factory weight slide it almost felt like it wobbles around more and didn't feel right. It is now tritopped which removes weight all over and has gills in the front and a hipower cut to take the weight out if the nose. It feels very good now
