I'm loving all this info about getting these triggers right! The one thing I didn't order was a plunger doing.

You guys put yours in the IDPA box? I'm guessing it's gonna be touching both sides of the gun. Gonna be very tight.

What changed? I glanced at it a few minutes ago, still looked like the same wording for the head shots and 18 sq. in.

FYI. I just tried my Tanfo mag in my ghost pouches (bought for CZ) and they did fit.

Just pulled out the trigger gauge. SA is 4lbs 10 oz DA is over 12 lbs and won't even register. Why would they even build one with this bad of a trigger?!

Anyone know how to tell if you got an older (longer) version? Its gonna be extremely close to fitting in the box!

It was because of the milling of the slide for the bushing from a "custom shop". You could shoot a regular sp-01 shadow in ESP with full length rail/dust cover . If it's legal in SSP it is/was legal in ESP. The bushing being external and requiring milling from someone other than the factory makes it illegal.

Internal accuracy work. Its my understanding they've always viewed the bushing as external.

Well,.... while I'm glad they made fault lines mandatory, I feel they still screwed the pooch on it! "Fault line shall be aligned with cover line from the first target in the array when engaging targets in tactical priority from PoC". The pic they show looks to confirm what I think by reading that. To me it looks like It may be easier to tell and enforce cover but it looks like it's gonna be more of a hard lean and I'm wondering if more folks will end up getting more PE from the new fault lines?

Just got it about two hours ago. Trigger sucks! And I mean sucks but we all know that so nothing new there. Front strap checking is not as sharp (or sharp at all) as I've heard. The term cheese garter was heard. So, either mine has the dullest checkering ever or people are just cry babies. (I work at a computer all day long.) Mag well doesn't seem like it's gonna bother me. (I THINK I do reloads like a boss). I think I'm gonna like the larger grip! Oredered a bunch of parts from PD so that'll take care of the trigger issues. Gonna try and shoot it soon. If it's as accurate as my CZ's I'll be happy. I'm sure it will be! I'll be sending it off to get the short chamber fixed. Gonna do a little more side by side comparing to my CZ's tonight.

I bought blade tech mag pouches before. I returned them! I like the safariland 771. I just bought some ghost pouches but haven't used them yet. The ghost pouches will take different mags because they have a spring that's flexible.

I'm assuming you still have to make the score for division? Example: you shoot new classifier and score 95.5. You make expert for SSP But not ESP. ESP Expert score is 95 - 72.01. So you'd miss making EX by .5 pt. I dont see how you could make EX for CDP shooting SSP/ESP since its a different pf. I guess they just want to make it easier to get classified?

Well, I'm already dependent on fed primers so,....... I may just buy one to try. Any chance they'll take my nickel plated Mec-Gar mags? Sometimes having to re invest in mags is enough to detour a change!

To echo what others here have said, I'd reload my own. I've seen freedom jam in guns too. Was it the ammo or the gun? IDK. Unless you're chamber checking each round in your barrel, or a tighter case gauge, you're taking a chance. Even with factory ammo. Just my $0.02

I definitely feel the CZ has a smaller grip. I'm using VZ Diamond Backs w/palm swell. I love these grips! Is the grip too small? Don't know. That's an opinion for each person but it is smaller compared to my G34. I'd love to hold some of the Tanfo's. Though, I've heard the triggers aren't as nice (again opinion) so, .....

If you decide to go with Federal check out buds gun shop. They had some American Eagle for about $11.50 a box. Cant remember if it was 147 or not.

You really need to go buy a box of what you're wanting to shoot. Try them, if they work 100%, then buy a couple. After you're confident, buy in bulk. If they don't work, try something from federal and repeat. Regardless of what has worked for us, you still need preform your own trial and error process for your gun.
