  1. I'd love to put mine in a ramsom rest.
  2. Here I am thinking my 3.5" 10 shoot group at 40 yds was good. Now I'm thinking it's mediocre!
  3. I feel that most people who've said that do not mean it that way. Love it when people shoot a 3" group at 7 yds and say, "it's way more accurate than I am".
  4. I don't know why people say this?! I mean, yeah I want a gun that is more accurate than I am. That way I know it's me that's the problem. Though, I don't think most people mean it that way. They'd accept 1ft at 15 yds. I'm more accurate than some guns! 2" at 25 is bare minimum and that's not really good enough. Can can I shoot that well? Sure can. Off hand. With a Glock! So, I want a gun that's capable of shooting 1/2" at 50 yds. Is that realistic, probably not but I want it! I think 1" at 25/ 3" at 50 is the standard for excellent accuracy. Can I shoot that good?! ...... Maybe, but if I can't it's my fault and I'll keep trying. "More accurate than I am" is a lame excuse to suck! I expect my Lim Pro to be as accurate as my CZ's. I've still not tested the LP since I just got it. My Shadows will shoot <2" at 25. I've hit 8" still at 100 yds with them. Just like every other gun, load development will get you the best accuracy. If my LP isn't as accurate, I'll be selling it. Here's a 10 shot group at 40 yds with my shadow orange. I will test the LP at the same distance and expect the same accuracy if not better! trying to hold the tape measure in one hand and take the pick in the other, I got the edge to edge instead of center to center.
  5. Midway had federal SPP in stock yesterday. Chase that 3# trigger!
  6. Man, that's an awesome offer. Thanks! I'm gonna make another go at them this weekend. Not sure they'll turn out as good as yours.. I'll probably regret not taking you up on that offer!
  7. No plunger but everything still needs to be polished. The mag release spring needs to be bent on the CZ. The tanfo doesn't have that problem. Also the trigger lifter spring on the CZ sucks and can cause magazine issues. So, they both have quirks. I like them both. To me they both require about the same amount of tweaking.

  9. Please tell us what you have to do to a tanfo that you don't have to do to a CZ? I've done the same things to mine.
  10. I've got two shadows. I've only taken my Lim Pro apart 3 times but I believe the CZ is easier to break down. I prefer (slightly) the tanfo's trigger plunger/mag release to the CZ's lifter spring/mag spring. Though, I prefer the CZ's hammer spring a lot more than the tanfo's. My tanfo w/PD parts (12# HS) is 5.5# DA/2.5# SA. My CZ's w/cgw parts (11.5# HS) is 6# DA/2# SA. You should be able to get similar trigger results.
  11. Gotcha! I'm hung over! It should have given it away where it says FP spring!
  12. I don't understand this. How do you have two different measurements for the same spring. Don't understand the top column either? I'm sure I'm just missing something.
  13. Have you polished all the internals? I'm using the PD 12# and my DA is the same. Internals polished last night. Though, gun has been fired less than 200 times so my DA still may go down. Though, I'm like everyone else here, I want 100% without running Federal primers.
  14. I've been asking myself why tanfo lets these guns out the door in the condition they're in? Probably the worst stock trigger I've ever felt! Others have mentioned the machining is horrible. The chambers are short. I'm wondering who shoots these guns as is from the factory? Can't imagine they shoot them well!
  15. Yeah, I'm looking at mine. A little nervous. You F it up and you need a new slide!
  16. Newb to tanfos but wouldn't it be the second to smallest (out of 4) coil spring in the gun? Obviously it's not the recoil. Hammer should be obvious too(I'd think). Then you just have to distinguish between mag release and plunger. I've only had my gun apart once so maybe I'm missing something?
  17. Really?! Hadn't heard that. Wow! Kinda pisses me off!
  18. I am! At least until I run out of the 8k Feds I've got! Though, really I'll end up keeping the Feds for matches and use S&B's for everything else. I'd like a 4# DA but you're right. Maybe Fed SPP will be readily available in the near future?!.....
