  1. I've actually rethought it a little. My first match after making MA (2nd sanctioned match) I shot it fast. Too fast for me. I had WAY too many PD. I came in 3/3 in MA SSP (7th overall). I squaded with the shooter who won Div Champ (2nd overall). He told me "you're shooting too fast". He was right. It didn't feel like it but the hits showed it. Plus 2 NS! Anywyas, I need to throttle back just a little. Not a lot. Where I need to get faster is on everything else but actually pulling the trigger. My first sanctioned match (as a SS) I won the div and was 4th over all. I didn't expect to win so I just shot my sights. After making MA I thought, "crap, I gotta go light speed, I'm a MA now"! Well, that didn't work! This rule, while I'm not in favor of it, isn't gonna hurt my scores. At least not without affecting everyone else's since everyone is is gonna be scored the same. Point is, shoot it as fast and as accurate as you can. Then try to do it faster and more accurate!
  2. So, they swage sense kinda acts as a two in one sensor?
  3. You did say that. I remember reading it. Bottom line, the new rule is gonna happen. Why? Well,... I've heard rumors and speculation. Does it matter? Not really.
  4. I'm thinking about the decapping sensor. The low primer issue can be avoided with entering the number of primers so it'll stop (if you forget). Swage sense could be useful too. Don't see a need for the powder sense. Anyone out there have ine or all all of these? Thoughts?

    CZ Shadows 2 is coming

I don't know which one I want more. Between the czezchmate, S2 or Orange TS.
  6. I've seen this. Gonna start doing it. Not the the only reason I bout the Mark7. An added bonus.
  7. Ha ha. Sorry. It's a big decision. I mean it's $2500 for something that does what I can do for free and I still have to be in the room watching it do it. Why not just do it myself. That's what I kept telling myself. I had to convince myself I needed/wanted it. I did. I've got bad tendinitis. Not having to pull on the handle several hundred times is a big plus.
  8. I did. Got the pro Can't wait to get it. got a bad case of tendinitis. Looking forward to not have to pull that handle several hundred rounds at a time!
  9. I feel like you may have a hint of why?
  10. This^^^^! and how hard is it to PD x .5 + time?
  11. So down. I recommended increasing the miss to 10 pd.
  12. I sent my comments. I did comment that I preferred the current scoring to the new proposed 1 pd = 1 sec.. I don't believe for a minute they're gonna stay with the current scoring. The majority of thier membership is 50+. They want to slow the game down. Everyone over 50 that I've talked to about this says pretty much the exact same thing. Something along the lines of "it'll keep gamers from winning based on speed". What I think is the funniest about that is the "gammer" reference. Everyone of them has used that term. I look at them and say, "it's not a game"? Some actually believe it's real world training! Oh well,....
  13. Thanks for the reply. I'll check the hole in the slide. I've already replaced the first blue tip. Also, I've double checked to make sure the cap ontop of the primer tube isn't overtightened.
  14. Apparently this is not a new problem. I've read that polishing certain parts may help. My press is only a few months old and has been extremely finicky. Now it's started dropping primers out the bottom while reloading. Just checking to to see if anyone has had this issue lately? Did polishing the track and/or the primer slide help?
  15. Looks like the LTE is gonna be a bare bones version. No single cycle jog up or down adjustable dwell setting I'm gonna buy the X.
  16. Just curious why you don't want stainless? too soft?
  17. I did a little comparing of the VZ palm swell DB against the LOK boogies palm swell. I think I prefer the VZ. I feel they grip better. They're thinner on the front edge by the mag release so I feel it's about the same as the boogies w/cut. The boogies fill the hand a little more. I got orange boogies like in the pic above so I'll probably have a hard time selling them. I've never had and issue with any grip coming loose on either of my shadows.
  18. Buy both. Try them and sell the ones you don't like. Kinda pricey to do that but you'll know you got the ones you like on your gun.
  19. I have both. The Boggies feel slightly larger. The VZ's (diamond backs) feel slightly more aggressive. I like the mag cut on the LOK but don't know if it really helps. Definitely doesn't hurt. To me it 6 one way half a dozen the other. The LOK are heavier by about 5 g which puts me really close to the max weight for IDPA. I think my gun w/mag is at 1214 g. Cutting it close to the max 1219 g. I like both.
  20. My experience has been both are equal in accuracy. Plated are easier to reload and don't smoke.
  21. Yeah I don't get shavings with BBI either. Using Dillon dies/650
  22. This app isn't the best! Anyways. Thanks for the info so far! I'm gonna with the BOSS kit from BSPS. A couple more questions. Im gonna go with the bald-tech holster. Do do I want the standard mount or two-lok? What about spacers? 1/2", 1/4" or 3/4"? I know nothing about these. Thanks.
