  1. I've thought about taking a wood burner to the stock grips to add some grip.
  2. I honestly can't tell a difference between it and the other shadow. Doesnt feel any tighter fit in the frame/slide, barrel/slide or slide stop/barrel link areas. It does have a shorter reset. I put the short reset disco in the orange and it's reset is shorter than the shadow with the same stuff. I don't know if it's because the orange supposedly has different fire controls? The whole description they gave for the orange was vague. So I don't know. Im gonna give the Tanfo a couple more weeks of testing. If it's not good to go, I'll be dumping it and going with the CZ. Can't spend too much more time testing a new gun. Need to be practicing with my gun that'll I'll be shoooting. Not working out bugs/ testing a new platform.
  3. I'm probably gonna try the lava rocks. I like the wide stock grip width. I thought the scales were slippery.
  4. ^^^^^That last part is good! I thought about doing that too. If a guy realy wanted to be anal, he'd measure up twice as many stages as the match will have, mark them, and keep them separate from the rest. A Rx bottle would hold a few and you could just keep that in the box with your other ammo.
  5. I've got a AA shadow and a shadow orange. I bought a Lim Pro for the same reasons as you. I've replaced everything in it. It's sweet. The Lim Pro recoils less than either of my Shadows. They weigh almost the exact same. Both just under 43 oz. Barely. I think it's because the LP has weight out further and more rail/slide to ride inside of the frame. The trigger aspects have already been explained by Memphis. I really like the LP. Still not sure it'll replace the CZ but it's sweet!
  6. I'm gonna rock my LP in a holster for a CZ and use ghost pouches with duct tape. Cant wait to watch the timmies point fingers. I'm gonna have all that stuff underlined in the rulebook!
  7. Oh. Dude. You have no idea the crying and whining going on. It's almost funny to listen to.
  8. Guess 8.6.1.C allows for mods to meet IDPA rules.
  9. You can tape the cutout and it's good? Ha ha. How dumb!
  10. "Must cover the entire outer face of the portion inside the magazine carrier" This is is a stupid rule! So is the requirement for a "tool" to adjustment holster tension. Those are only illegal because they're allowed in USPSA. There has to be a 51% difference between the two sports. Those two rules were easy choices.
  11. I'm focusing on production but think it's only a matter of time before I want to shoot Limited, right?! Ha ha. I've read folks talk about doing grip reductions on the TS. So the grip is larger than the SP-01? But not as large as the Tanfo? I've never held a TS. Oh yeah, I totally get the OCD thing. If something bugs you it's just better to move on because it will always be in the back of your mind. At least for me.
  12. Not to turn this into a CZ vs Tanfo thread but I've got both. "Stacking" is not a problem with Patriot Defense springs. At least my trigger finger cant feel it. I could with the stock springs. I love both platforms but I like the DA better on my Tanfo. Though, it's really a moot point since these will be fired SA. With that said, I'm really fighting the temptation of calling CZC and buying a TS Orange!
  13. I happen to have both out of the gun at the moment. Stock = .492" Ext= .507"
  14. Here's a pic. My LP with Titan/bolo would not block the fp w/stock fpb. Had to buy an extended one. Dropped right in.
  15. I had the same. Wilson was looser (measured it too). KKM was tighter.
  16. My DA is the same as yours with a 12# PD spring. SA is 2lb 10 oz. How'd you get yours down that low?
  17. Took these tonight after getting my scales 2.0. However, I like thicker grips so these will be for sale. But they make weight. The grips alone (no screws) weigh 34 g.
  18. Sweet! just got my scales in. Don't think I'm gonna keep them.
  19. Anyone know of a lighter one? and how much it'll weigh?
  20. You jinxed me! I had four total. The first one I immediately pulled the DA trigger again. All went off on the second DA pull. I DIDNT plunk the rounds fired yesterday. Didn't have time and thought "nothing has changed on my 1050 so I should be good". I did put them in the Hundo so they did pass that. The weird thing is I cranked down the seating adjustment on my 1050 right before loading this batch of 200. The previous 200 rnds I've fired thru this gun with S&B (all DA pulls) went off 100%. The strikes are off center. So, first thought is chamber issue? Though, I did install the EFB with no fitting. It dropped in. I tested several times. Pencil test is the same as before and the block works with hammer cocked. I polished the ext FBP before install. And removed it after range trip. Didn't see any wear from the 400 +\-trigger pulls (dry/live) since I've put it in. I did remove the barrel and try after they failed the first time and of course they plunked! so,..... since I didn't plunk before the range trip, I can't cross off the chamber being the problem! But it could be seating depth or EX FPB.
