    KKM for 147gr 9mm

I've found the stock barrel to be the most accurate. I'm can shoot sub 3" groups off hand at 25 yds with my stcok barrels with ease. If I really bare down I can get sub 2" . Every time I've tried an after market barrel the accuracy has gotten worse. I've twaeked loads, tried different barrels, different twist rates. Each time it got worse. Now let me say they've all be drop in. I've never tried a fit barrel.
  2. Cool deal. I'll use this if I ever buy from them.
  3. Be honest OP, Are you looking at the holes in the target? Seems like you were looking at the target you just shot when as you start moving to the next position. If you are doing that, stop! When I watched it I though yiuooked better than the C class shooters I see. I'd say you can get to the first shot a little sooner? Though, that 1st position on that stage may have been a little awkward. Also, try to start the reload sooner and get it done sooner. I'd also say move sooner and more aggressive. Still looked close to a B run to me. Gotta cut the number of C's in half and no D's at all.
  4. I think I like the Lim Pro better. But buying a used gun for 950? Probably well used too.
  5. Been Stoeger pro shop has Stock 2's in stock. For now.
  6. With the grips and slide off, you can turn the frame upside down and look inside and see if the spring is in the groves. I also use a very small paint brush to apply a very small amount of grease in the grooves.
  7. I never new the spring needed to be adjusted like that. Hmmmm.... Just thought they needed to be in the groves.
  8. I'd love to shoot one of his guns. To see how it's set up. I'll get a chance with Stoegers since I've got a class scheduled with him in April. Looks like Gutts has stock hammer and disco. He probably sounds his time practicing. Like that's gonna pay off!
  9. I've got a class scheduled for April this year. Excited!
  10. Especially if you get bumped. I know M class shooters that can't shoot M classifiers scores.
  11. I don't care what anyone tells you, the Tanfo has the better DA trigger pull. When comparing a tuned CZ to a tuned Tanfo. But that's only one shot so,.... Not really a game changer. The CZ is easier to preform reloads.
  12. Stick with Glock! Don't go down this rabbit hole! The tanfos are sweet. So are they CZs. Glocks are good to go as well. I wish I wasn't the idiot I am and would have never switched guns........ 20 times.
  13. I guess I got confused because czc sells discos that are called short reset. Thought I read in their description that it made the reset shorter? Figured that was the same for the tanfo. Guess I was wrong. Good to know. The Stock 2 I've got has a pretty good trigger with all the stock parts and a 14# hammer spring and polishing. SA could be a tad bit more crisp but it's good. If I keep this gun, I'll probably keep it set up like it is. Thanks for the info.

    New shadow 2

Do you find that one gives a smoother pull than the CGW 13? I want to run the 13 for reliability. Don't want to worry about light strikes. The CGW 13# one I'm running is kinda stiff at the beginning of the trigger stroke.
  15. Unless you're lucky enough to have a small gun problem at the end of a stage, you're gonna end up zeroing the stage. Which means you'll have no shot for the win. So, sell me the Eagle. Ha ha.
  16. Does your shadow 2 have the stock disco or a short reset disco?
  17. Have you fingered a shadow with the short reset disco?
  18. I'd still like the reset to be as short as possible. That's why I'm asking. Don't want folks to get caught up on the spilts times. The shorter the reset the more forgiving it'll be the one time the technique isn't 100%.
  19. Ok. So, I've got my 3rd Tanfo (Stock 2). Can these be tweaked to have as short of a reset as the Shadows? This one has a stock disconnecor and stock hammer. The reset feels close to what I remember the others had with all PD internals. My Accushadow is quite a bit shorter. At least feels like it. Probably only measures out to be about 1/16". We all know who's successfully running tanfos but are they running them with the same reset as all us? I know that if my technique is right and I watch the sights and don't try to double tap, I should be able to still pull .15 splits and not short stroke but let's be honest, who wants to do that. Double taps are fun. Seriously, it'd still be nice to get as short of a reset as possible.
  20. Man, this sport is costly! Ha ha. I want to get I to limited so bad but this has been what's kept me from it to this point. @CHA-LEE would you say having the go to back up kept you in the hunt for a top finish? I guess it all depends on when it happens and how bad.
  21. Not sure I understand your first paragraph? You can stipple the grip and be production legal.
