  1. To me, it’s important to get used to the feeling of really slamming that full mag home so it doesn’t drop out the bottom after the first shot.
  2. Have you tried any of the other blocks like the PT block or tried to file/sand down the block a little?
  3. What grip do your new guns use and what insert are you using on the Alpha x?
  4. I find the additional gap allows enhanced cooling effect of the gun with no additional dirt introduced into the mag.
  5. They’re supposed to blend the extractor with the back of the slide?!
  6. Um...how about CZ Custom or Cajun Gunworks?
  7. But is that particular silver suitable for the manufacture of bullets? We need to test that.

  10. I suspect the most popular is the aggressive mainly because of Phoenix Trinity making that grip style popular. I have used the regular texture and I like it. It’s definitely grippy enough in my opinion if you’re squeezing hard enough. It won’t rip up your hands. That being said, I have two open guns being built right now with the aggressive grip. Why? I feel it will be more grippy at those times where my grip is not the best/strongest. My wife chose the standard because she doesn’t want her hands ripped up.
  11. I would argue for 140mm Glock mags because Glocks are more popular in carry optics than production anymore.
  12. It would be nice to have a weighted mag for a starting mag that you can rack without dropping the mag, and a plastic mag to not ding up your magwell as much. I was told it is bad for a 2011 to thumb the hammer. I don’t know if that’s true or not.
  13. I saw somewhere available in the US and Canada mid-May.
  14. Rack Buddy doesn’t work in my 2011s with MBX mags (9 mm) We can land a car on Mars and drive it around and take pictures. We should be able to get the weight of these mags right.
  15. I can see using these as a starting mag to drop on the floor without worrying as much about the mag or your floor, and to add some weight to the gun to practice draws. Hopefully, especially with 2011, you will be able to rack the slide keeping the mag in because I find that it is a big waste of time to take the mag out, rack for the first shot, and reinsert the mag every time. There are dummy type rounds that attempt to allow this, however none that I have tried work with MBX mags in my 2011s. I feel they may be useful for reloads particularly if you are trying to reduce wear and tear on the magwell and your mags, but I also think it is useful to get used to the feel of using a real mag loaded all the way up to train yourself to the feel of really seating the mag in, and the weight, etc., This is especially true if you reload to 155 mags. These look like 140 length, so the weight probably still won’t be quite right if you start with 170 mags, and reload to 155s for example. Hopefully the weight is realistic for a 140 mm mag. I still think it’s interesting, though, and plan to buy at least 2 of these to try. I agree with more realistic versions of the mags, and hopefully revision two will include 140mm Glock, Sig, and CZ mags, and 170mm 2011 mags.
  16. Probably a 6MOA Sig Romeo 3 XL at the moment.
  17. Atlas Chaos are full tri top, I’m sure there’s probably plenty of people who have run tens of thousands of rounds through them. I figure if there was a big problem, Atlas would stop it with the full length tri top. That being said, I have 3 guns being built right now with partial tri tops
  18. Has anyone used the Arredondo plastic mag release paddle? Do you have any feedback or opinions?
  19. Thanks. Can you please show a side view comparison?
  20. Well, he’s the safari guy, he would know.
  21. Maybe try the original grip instead of the aggressive or extra aggressive. The original grip is not bad on the hands at all. Atlas can grind the points down if you want.
  22. Sorry, I said the wrong thing... I was looking for a side by side of the MAX and the RTS2
