  1. Here's the King of Stupid Texting King of Stupid Texting The other drivers aren't so great either.
  2. America doesn't have a lock on stupidity. Here's a British motorcycle cop
  3. All this fuss and the level of distrust shown just to catch what, maybe, MAYBE 1 shooter out of 100-200-300 shooters at a match. I could understand the concern if 10-20 or more shooters were cheating the chrono, but I flat don't see it. There might possibly be 1 or 2 shooters at a major match that was deliberately shooting below their declared power factor, so what? He won't be the match winner, we know all those guys too well. He probably won't be the class winner because he will be that sandbagging classifier shooter (which is another issue you all seem to be so worried about.) If you think it gives the cheater so much advantage, stop spending so much time worrying about it and spend the same amount of time practicing and it won't matter whether some other jerk is shooting minor you'll still beat him bacause he spent all his time figuring out how to cheat instead of practicing. Do you think TGO, Todd, Travis, Max, Manny, etc... spend ANY time worrying about whether you might be shooting puff loads at the Nationals? I don't think so!
  4. I believe that would be "I think it's safe to turn the lights off now BETTY."
  5. At a local match last year we had one of those guys you speak of shooting "major" .45 with zero muzzle flip. After the match I had set up my chrono to check some loads and the same shooter asked if I could chrono a few rounds for him. I thought that should be interesting, so he pulled a couple of the partially loaded mags that he had stuffed into his hip pocket after shooting the last stage and handed me his .45. I loaded up and fired the first round, 178pf. The 3 round average was 179pf. Oh yeah, I had plenty of muzzle flip so I let him shoot the next mag over the chrono, yup you guessed almost zero muzzle flip at 178-179pf! So it's possible the guys you're complaining about DO have an awesome grip.
  6. And for that special part of the male anatomy! After about 50 back to back airings of "you know, male enhancement" I really, really miss the good ole' days of Smilin' Bob!
  7. In that case I wouldn't be coming to your match for 2 reasons. 1. My wife shoots minor 9mm and I shoot major 9mm. Both of our ammo is carried in the same range bag on our cart. It is CLEARLY marked using different color markers and is in CLEARLY marked boxes so unless we are forced to load mags in pitch dark it is not going to be accidently mixed up. 2. If this is your attitude towards your customers (the shooters) then I won't be doing business with you since you clearly believe that we must be forced into honesty. No Thank You!
  8. There is another big merger underway. AMD Microchips is merging with Dell Computers who just took over Sirius Radio. The new company will be called AMDellirius. How appropriate.
  9. As others have said, the dent is too deep for just bondo or fillers. Pick up one of these when Harbor Freight has them on sale for $89.00 and you can pull most of the dent out. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/disp...Itemnumber=3223 Here are some general instructions on it's use. http://books.google.com/books?id=zh94U0W_h...esult#PPA304,M1
  10. Funny, but Snopes says not necessarily true... http://www.snopes.com/humor/lists/olympics.asp
  11. I think the cyclic rate for a 1911 is around 20 rounds a second (1200 per minute) so unless your splits are under .05 seconds you're probably not outrunning the gun.
  12. I've stepped in some, but never eaten one
  13. 7,000 grains to the pound so if you're loading 7.0 grains per round = 1,000 round per pound.
  14. You can replace the breachface yourself. Use the 9mm breachface for Supercomp. Breachfaces are available at Speed Shooters Int. here: http://www.speedshooter.com/product_detail.cfm?ID=SVBF Buy several of the special hollow mounting screws. Use a thread locking compound and install following these instructions: http://sviguns.com/technical/breechface.html Check the mounting screw for tightness each time you clean the gun and before each match.
  15. One survey found that only 65% of men kissed their wives good-bye when they left the house, however 95% of men kissed their houses good-bye when they left their wives.
  16. Best comment was "And the door was unlocked!" It was a closet door and the confined space of the closet reflected the blast.

  19. Hornady's Cam lock works very well. I use it on the 2nd station (powder) on a 550 with no problems. You will need the specific collet for your caliber. http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/...m_campaign=9315 http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/...leitemid=790138 Some reviews of other users. http://www.cabelas.com/link-12/product/0012539213979a.shtml
  20. I've always just done like Xre and measured at 0.0, 1.00, 2.00, & 3.00, then entered the values in a blanked copy of the spreadsheet, then saved that spreadsheet with the name of the powder. If I want to load 8.5 grains of SR7625 I enter that in the calc space and Bingo it comes out as 2.60 Edited to correct for faulty memory Edited to correct for VERY faulty memory
  21. Gasoline prices have gotten so high that women wanting to run over their cheating husbands have started carpooling. My wife wanted to go someplace expensive for the weekend, so I took her down the street to the local Texaco.
  22. My guess would be he must be talking about some cheap clone (Dillion) not a real Dillon press LOL!
