  1. My wife singing in the kitchen while she's making lunch!
  2. Borescopes are cheap these days. $46 on Amazon. I have one and it does an adequate job, especially for less than Fifty bucks. However, prepare to be sad when you look at your rifle barrels. The posted photo looks just like video from the one I own. https://www.amazon.com/Teslong-Borescope-Side-View-Semi-Rigid-Smartphone/dp/B07TTQF24F/ref=sr_1_1_sspa Pistol length rigid version goes down to .20 caliber $40 https://www.amazon.com/Teslong-Borescope-Cleaning-Right-Angle-Connectivity/dp/B08D67H7LZ/ref=sr_1_23_sspa
  3. I would recommend carrying a RED Sharpie in your shirt pocket. Dot goes out, whip out the Sharpie and put a red dot in the middle of the lens and carry on. I would also recommend putting a good sized glob of Permatex 25228 "Right Stuff" gasket maker between your red dot, the mount, and your gun when installing it. Anybody who has ever tried taking off a differential or valve cover installed with "Right Stuff" will know what I mean, your red dot ain't goin' flyin' off!

  5. I believe there is a famous quote that goes something like "I do not think it means what you think it means." If you think I meant something other than exactly what I posted, that's your problem and not mine.
  6. Hmmm, that's similar to the recipe for the perfect Rum and Coke. Fill a large tumbler to the brim with Coke (or Pepsi if you aint' woke), Dump the cola and quickly fill the tumbler with the Rum of your choice.
  7. By sub-squad, do you mean part of a squad did not shoot with the rest of the squad? If so, that is pretty crappy. I don't know if it could be called 8.41 Unsportsmanlike Behavior, but I would certainly be tempted. Alternatively, if I was RO'ing that squad, I would call the creeps name in the shooting rotation and when they sat out their turn, I would score it DNF for that stage and continue on with the shooters who were present.
  8. I'm think we should split your new category into Distinguished Super Senior Limited (original knees) and DSS Open (replacement knees).
  9. I actually shot a major USPSA match many, many years ago, back when you actually had to do physical things in stages like climb walls, go through windows, cooper tunnels, kick down doors, etc... The shooter started the stage holding a bowling ball and had to shoot several targets on the way to the "Bowling Alley", then drop the bowling ball in a barrel that funneled the ball onto a track. The ball rolled down the track activating various moving, swinging, and bobbing targets and no-shoots as the shooter moved down and across the bay. What a great stage! We got a petition going with probably 50 or 60 signatures to extend the match another day, just so we could come back and play on that stage. Sadly, we never got to shoot the stage again. As I remember the stage ran pretty well with few re-shoots. If my memory is correct the stage was designed by an actual rocket scientist.
  10. Correctamundo! Give the man a ceegar. The schools here are too busy teaching gender studies and critical race theory to bother with something as mundane as readin', writin' and 'rithmetic.
  11. Only 3 more posts, and you'll be classified. I know you can do it, you've already posted in 47 threads dating all the way back to 2015.
  12. LOL! That's funny right there! So you got a bone to pick with Dillon, so you go to this forum and make a bunch of unsubstantiated claims how it is all Dillons fault...Boo Hoo! It's all Dillons fault that EVERY single reloading equipment manufacturer and reloading supply manufacturer is OUT OF STOCK and backordered on everything including Toilet Paper! Can't tell if you are actually serious, or just a troll or just stupid?
  13. The most reliable lightweight bolt carrier I've found is the JP Low Mass Steel BCG with enhanced bolt. I have one that has outlasted 2 barrels, but I did replace the bolt last year and kept the original as a spare. I can count the number of malfunctions I've had with this setup in 5 years of competition on one hand and have 2 digits left over and I think one of them was a sandy magazine. https://jprifles.com/buy.php?item=JPBC-3 BCG if you don't want to know how dirty your BCG is. https://jprifles.com/buy.php?item=JPBC-3SP BCG if you clean your gear often. I use the JP Silent Captured Spring system in all of my AR's small and large. I just run the standard spring and it has worked with every thing I've run through the gun from light hoser loads to hot 77 grain loads. https://jprifles.com/buy.php?item=JPSCS2-15 For gas blocks I run SLR Sentry 7 adjustable gas blocks, but I did have an early model one that spit out the adjusting screw. They replaced it with the later model upgraded gas block and I haven't had any problems with it since and have about twice as many rounds through it as the failed one. https://slrrifleworks.com/sentry-7-set-screw-adjustable-gas-block/
  14. I've had the same problem at various clubs over the years and finally made the connection that the only common denominator between clubs was....ME. My approach and attitude was causing the friction between me and the 'crab' people. I have much less friction now that I understand the source.
  15. For about $4 you can fix the bag so the flap stays open. https://www.amazon.com/VELCRO-Brand-Industrial-Conditions-Professional/dp/B00JJPPNHM/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top Fold the flap over so the velcro side is towards the bag and stick the appropriate half of the velcro patch onto the bag where the flap velcro meets the side of the bag. If you're worried the patch won't stick, put some Shoe Goo on the adhesive side of the velcro patch. https://www.amazon.com/Repair-Adhesive-Fixing-Shoes-3-7-Ounce/dp/B002L9AL84/ref=sr_1_3
  16. Not mine. Gargle image search of what I expected to see, considering the thread title.
  17. Me neither, I was expecting something like this. I am disappointed.
  18. Nice of you to leave your trash brass for others! LOL!
  19. Was the processed brass wet cleaned? If so, try using some case lube. Wet cleaned brass is so clean it sticks to the powder funnel and may be sticking hard enough to buckle the case.
  20. It's called a 'safe table' and right now in Commiefornia it would definitely NOT be a dry table...it's been raining for the past week.
