  1. Red Raven, Red Raven, my Trojan just came off. You think that suit might help my 3-gun scores?
  2. Sorry if I sound like a turd (no offense meant at all), but I always answer this one the same way. Sight alignment, trigger control. Pure fundamentals will take care of most everything. Works for movers, swingers, stationary, texas stars, and everything else. I have always not let the fact that something is moving affect my mental process, and it has worked for me. For swingers specifically, watch where it stops, and take aim there. When it gets there...pop, pop. Never chase them.
  3. Gallon Ziploc Bags, work as well as an ammo can on the shelf, but not as durable for transport and such.
  4. Sounds like you need some USPSA in your life! It's a lot more friendly, as far as the "procedurals" go. Seriously though, being a new shooter, sometimes it's better to learn the game's rules the hard way (by buying them with procedurals). But, if it's firearm safety rules then please know them by heart, and practice them always. It's the only reason these sports are as safe as they are. Have fun, and don't let other people bother you mentally, at this point your only shooting against yourself. Slow down, and be smooth. Hope your not too discouraged. Just get back out there, and you'll find that you learn new things each time.
  5. Get one twice the size you think you need, regardless of the cost.
  6. I'm guessing you have gone nuclear at this point?
  7. I found this, and it pretty much sums up every working day of my life. and this enjoy, and appreciate your local independent pharmacist!
  8. I rented it along with "How to Train Your Dragon" for my children, We watched the dragon movie about 4 times, and I liked it a whole lot more than expendables.
  9. I just spillt leftover dressing on my keyboard for real, I have laughed before at stuff, but food actually came out of my mouth this time
  10. Seems that all the top 3 gunners are running a long tube, and not a quad rail. There may be a reason for that. Just my observation.
  11. Welcome Jay, sorry you have to deal with the BS.
  12. I would guess it'll be in tulsa at the ussa. Phil Strader should know.
  13. You do not need to see any stinking rules!!!!!!!!!!!! Just show up, shoot and have fun!!!!!!!!!! You know I will Patrick! Just not sure which division to sign up for? Thinking about running a scope this year for the first time. Tactical then? Anyhow, is there a link to IMGA rules anywhere?
  14. I had a bad extractor, jp called me back 5 minutes after I emailed them. New bolt in the mail instantly. Ill do business again.
  15. Welcome preacher! God lover here also. Heard a good preacher joke other day, I gotta share here. Preacher was talking about when the weather is "to be desired" like it's blistering hot and dry, or miserable cold. The church members always ask him if he can do something about it. He responds with, "That is management you need to talk to, I'm in sales"
  16. Prochrono pal here. Works great
  17. Hey, you have found it now. Welcome! Start saving your money, you'll definitely learn about something you must have!
  18. Yea, I need to see the rules also. Not even sure what the difference between tactical and limited? Previous years were tac and tac heavy.
  19. Hey, I'm a pharmacist too, and can relate to your view. As a store owner, I too go above and beyond to offer a higher level of customer service. I also know that from time to time my employees don't offer the same service as I do. Of course I like them too, but it's a fact that they don't have the same investment in the business as I. I had a problem with my first and only JP, and after an email, John himself called me back in 5 minutes, and made it good immediately. I feel your reasoning, and it's your decision. But, I frown deeply when someone makes a decision about my business based on anything that I didn't get a chance to make right personally.
  20. SW 642, 38 +P, crimson trace laser grips, and kydex pocket holster. Goes where ever I do. I keep a snake load in the first hole followed by 4 heavy hitters, and have killed far more of reptiles than human snakes
  21. Another idea. Had I not already owned an AR and shotty I would have done this. Consider bringing just some ammo to a local match, and try out some others stuff. I know that most of the people I shoot with would be more than happy to give you a go at their equipment, with factory ammo. Kind of like test driving cars, it would make sense. See what you like, and what you don't. I shot matches for 2 years with basically a stock Bushmaster (added good trigger, and comp), then when I made the upgrade, it was with a full meal deal JP CTR-02. I knew at that point EXACTLY what I wanted, and am happy with it. Saved from buying several different guns, along the way. Good luck, welcome, and let us know what you decide on!
  22. Thankful for being saved. for my wife & sons for the knowledge I have earned for true friends (friends that would help you move furniture ) for my freedom (thanks to the service men/women) for guns, drugs, and airplanes. take any of these things away, and you would take some happiness from my life. God Speed,
