  1. I'm limited minor for now as well while waiting for new gun. My goal was to get into HIGH gear in 2011. I've only shot one match this year, but I brought the heat. My accuracy was sloppy, but it was all about changing gears for me, and it is working sofar. 3gun next weekend, will experiment with a better "balance" of dvc.
  2. I used to own a s&w sigma, and in the reading materials it was stated that it does this by design, to facilitate a faster slide lock reload. So, it may not be an accident, or anything wrong with it.
  3. bring the die down just until it hits the taper on the case mouth, then back it off slightly, tighten the die, then put a loaded round in that position, and screw down the seater plug until it kisses the bullet, tighten, and verify. Should work perfect after that.
  4. Only if you use the wrong combination of components, or trust someone else's! Hope no one ever does see one.
  5. Wow! Strange, I was reading some of your post from 4 years ago last night while doing some searches. Really glad you pulled thru!
  6. Well, I just ordered my first one 2 minutes ago, the bottom of my stock glock is looking pretty rough these days, the bright side is my reloading technique has to be at least ok to hit that skinny little hole as is. With this thing it'll be like cheating now.
  7. Well, here it is, 200 yards, Eotech, taking a rest on my shooting bag/prone. Must have done something right
  8. Which sig 9mm? As long as the sights are adjusted correctly, I don't worry too much on groups, if it's over 3 inches at 20 yds, I may do something, but usually it's the bullet type/weight, and not little adjustments that I might make.
  9. I just keep a few basics in a pouch on my gun bag. Screwdriver punches choke tool extra fibers small brass hammer allen set Any thing extra, I just find the guy on my squad carrying the tackle box.
  10. Of all the stages I've come across, I've not seen one (aside from FB3G) where different length barrel would be an advantage either way.
  11. Never shot any of the ammo, but did get a bad rifle, after 8 months of being on hold for an hour each call they finally agreed I was right and sent me a new rifle. Left a bad taste in my mouth. My brother got another bad apple. One of their highend 700 tac rifles in 300 winmag, we couldn't get a group smaller than 4 inches at 100, and boy did we try. All weights of and bullet profiles, and brands of, never got any accuracy out of that gun. I am done with remington now.
  12. Seem to me if running in open, id prefer maybe 3-9x since you have a red dot already, kinda redundant to have two 1x, and only up to 4x total.
  13. I'm thinking the suppressor is adding more gas, therefore sending the bcg back harder. Same reason cyclic rate is increased while full auto suppressed.
  14. G17, 22 round mags, is my 3gun go to.
  15. Barracades & such are of less importatance. Most people are looking to run rifle length gas systems for the softer recoil impulse, and to have that I think a 17" barrel is just about as short as you should go due to the dwell time after the port, hence the 18" barrels most are sporting these days. I'm not a super expert on this, but have done some reading about it recently.
  16. Nordic is my recommendation as well. I would also spring (pun intended) for a longer version, in case you find yourself at some outlaw match where shoving a couple extra in is allowed. Oh, I cut a spring down to 9 inches over once, and my last shell didn't feed. Good luck!
  17. I always heard about "tennis elbow", and just sort of blew it off as some minor little thing, but this thing is on fire! Oh yeah, not from tennis, but shotgun reload practice.
  18. How about, "What color is a Dillon Press?" Maybe shooting related questions only? Man, it's tough to come up with a question that only the right people know the answer to.
