Unbelievably low coverage in the news regarding Pearl Harbor. I thought of it all day yesterday and I still can't get over how little it was mentioned.
I agree that C-More is a great sight to go with. I've got a 12 moa dot on mine and it's great for steel. I prefer a smaller dot for my IPSC open gun though. Alot of the dot size thing is going to be personal preference IMHO though.
I was finally able to get my daughter out to a steel match today! We've been trying to go for awhile now but there's been weather issues and a busy schedule with the high school marching band! She had a great time shooting 22 with optic sights. She missed first place in the rimfire division by just 0.16 seconds! Next upgrade for her pistol will be a good sight from Cmore to replace the crappy one that literally fell apart on the last stage today!
It was great watching her work through the stages and safely handle the gun throughout the match all under the direction of an RO other than dad at the practice range!! Really proud of her performance and hoping to get her out to more matches in the future!!
Same thing here! Checked tracking yesterday morning and was all excited that my winter shirt was in Austin. Figured I'd have it that afternoon. NOPE! "not due for delivery"! Looks like I'll be getting it today. Even though, with all the rain lately I'm not sure when I'm gonna get to use it!! We need the rain BAD but I wanna shoot!!
Send rain to central texas. It's been so damn dry for the last 2 years that we've got several VERY old post oak trees dieing out at the ranch! Horribly sad sight to see....
Great match! Many thanks to Alex, Ray, and all the rest of the staff and RO's! The food was great and the stages were awesome!! I was really impressed with the Palm system.
Thanks to everyone that made this happen!
Can anyone tell us how late the range will be open tomorrow to get a look at the stages? I was hoping to head over early but it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to do that....
Thanks!
I ran into this same problem when setting up to shoot L10. If I remember correctly, you use the Glock (GL) spacer with the short tab (the one with 2 small holes in it) facing straight up. I think either the Glock or Beretta/CZ spacer will do the trick.

Dang, been a long time since I updated. I haven't been nearly as active since double tap. Down to 3k primers so live fire practice is minimal. I'm signed up for the Texas Open next weekend (May 29th) which will be my second major match for the year! Looking forward to it!
Dry fire practice tonight for about 45 minutes. Working on draws and 2-reload-2. Got my par time down to 2.3 seconds on 2-reload-2. I'm going to keep it at that time and work on seeing better 'shots' and smoothing things out.
Match tomorrow at the Bullet Hole range in San Antonio tomorrow so I'm off to bed!
