  1. Yes! Use the clamp...it's a high quality part and worth the $30. When fully loaded those mag tubes are heavy...you don't want it to break after the buzzer.
  2. Happy belated Birthday to all!
  3. Happy Birthday Carina! It must be difficult to get birthday wishes in the middle of the holiday season...especially the day after Christmas...what a rip-off! And Happy Birthday wishes to all of the other birthday boys and girls in the Benosverse!
  4. Oh I wanted one of those! But I got something better... Sony Reader

    911 Call

    Easy spelling solution!
  6. Jamie...that's an awesome idea! Here in New Mexico at the Hot Springs Baths they offer a massage afterwards...
  7. LOL.... I thought that only happened to me. The buzzer goes off and my brain resets...
  8. That's exactly how I imagined it!
  9. Been there...done that. I can imagine that if she's scheduled for surgery then she really needs it. That probably means she feels pretty crappy on a good day. I hope she can look forward to feeling better and enjoying how she feels afterwards. Prayers sent!
  10. You covered all the bases with that comment! Agree+11111111
  11. Prayers sent for all the familes involved.
  12. Tom, There was a pair like you describe left on stage 1 after we were done with our reshoot. Ken or Nancy may have picked them up...Good Luck Craig Last I saw them the Lamberts were trying to find the owner. They are in transit to their casa at the moment, you might try them later tomorrow afternoon after they get there. We shoot at the same clubs locally, so no problem hooking up. Thanks, Ken and Craig. Looking forward to the next outing! Hey Tom..we are dissecting the inventory nightmare now. We were delayed in getting home because of the truck breaking down in AZ and driving through the snow storm. We carried 4 sets of gear back with us and the sorting process is easier said than done. I thought it was on stage 1 after the reshoot that I found a double p-mag...Jim said he thought it was after stage 11 on Sunday morning that he saw one was left on the table. It's all just a blur at this moment in time... I'll let you know when I get to the bottom of the pile what I find. Hey Tom...your double P-Mag turned up in Randy's pile of gear...after talking to him on the phone we figured out it is the one he picked up stage 11... We'll bring it to the match Saturday
  13. Craig, Jim didn't forget...he was trying to avoid the topic in a public forum. But, now that you've mentioned it... I want say that if I ever get a DQ I hope my reaction and subsequent behavior/attitude is as high class as Dusty's was. He maintained a completely respectable demeanor. I was proud to have him on our squad and even happier to have him as a friend. Many of us felt the DQ was unwarranted but the RO made the call so we respected it and went on. Dusty...you da man!

    It's Fall

The desert southwest is exceptionally beautiful in many ways however, at this altitude we do not have any deciduous trees that produce the miserable leaves you are suffering with. The trees here are more like weeds in that they produce miserable pollen that allergy sufferers curse throughout the year. I miss the crispy brown leaves that have a distinct smell as you walk over them or rake and collect the lightweight piles of leftover foliage that BTW are a superior composting base for the ground. I would offer to trade you a pile of your suffering for a vile of mine...

    Windows7

The laptop I bought earlier this year is 64 bit Vista system that I struggled with for awhile over issues with 3rd party devices...HP printer, UPS label printer, Western Digital Passport Elite USB drive. When I called for technical support I was told that those devices were not supported on 64 bit and that all future computers would be 64 bit. There was no real solution to the problems I was having. It is an AMD dual processor with 4 GB of memory and it runs painfully slow. What is the possible if any advantage to a 64 bit system? Waaaaaa, I want my Windows XP back!
  17. Wow, that is one the sweetest posts I've ever read! What a lucky woman she is to have you. Congrats to both of you on your anniversary and to the others mentioned here.
  18. Congratulations! This will surely be a confidence builder for you...keep going.
  19. When it rains it pours! We just got home today after being broke down for 4 days with a blown transfer case. I feel bad for you Merle...that power stroke is a beautiful truck. Hopefully it's just a sending unit or something simple.
  20. Several of the locals admitted there was some sort of vortex in Kingman that if anything was gonna break it would happen there. Well, happy to be home but it's winter here. Thanks for all the good wishes and watching over us during the ordeal.
  21. Good news...the transfer case has made it to Phoenix and is scheduled to be here in the morning. Might be ready to go tomorrow...of course now we have a winter storm ahead of us.
