  1. Well, that's what the Team Captain is for! Thanks Capt. Ken! It's a tough job but somebody had to do it. (11 shooters 12 stages)
  2. The arbitration process does in fact work! It may not be a perfect solution for ALL involved but for the shooters who shot the stage before the resetting of the Larue targets which prompted the arbitration...they have been given the option to reshoot the stage. Thanks to the arbitration committee for their efforts in the decision making process and thanks to the staff/admin for doing a great job.
  3. Nemo...800 mg three times a day is the prescribed dose. Be mindful of your stomach and your kidneys though... Advil, the breakfast of champions!
  4. Tough subject. We raised 4 children and then 2 grandchildren... We started shooting when the kids were young and it got very hectic...too hectic. We quit shooting for 17 years. Now we're back.
  5. Thanks for the video...I'm jazzed now!

Keep up the good work on your shooting and please post more videos for our entertainment and encouragement...it really got me jazzed about heading to Vegas for Multi-Gun Nationals next week. 10. I'll see your $1.02 and raise you my 2 cents worth...lol Denise...you do a great service to women shooters at the matches that you and JJ run. And you are correct that if women are recognized they are more likely to come back and compete again as they feel validated in their own division. I would also add that when husbands and wives shoot together, the husbands have a greater chance of acquiring the "free time" to attend a match. (mesage to the 90% of shooters who are men...invite your wives) Now, granted, he will end up spending twice as much money in double the gear, double the ammo, double the entry fee...but, hopefully, they will share transportation and lodging. An added feature, this great expense can create harmony in the relationship...unless of course the wife shoots better than the husband. The same is true for juniors and expenses. If mom and/or dad are paying for their kids to shoot then the expenses increase exponentially. My point is that as we are working to increase the juniors program for the future of shooting, don't forget the lady shooters need some recognition and support to increase their numbers as well.
  11. Thanks Charlene!

Not sure what this section is for...

  12. You're right. we all thanked JJ and Denise, the sponsors, and ROs but I think we left out the Casanovas. Those guys are the perfect example of what is good in this sport. You guys keep it up!!!! +1 The Casanova brothers are the best 2-man team to keep any match going! They work hard, they are always smiling...and they keep coming back...hmmm, they're keepers! Thanks James and Adam
  13. I believe this is correct...also, I was told by UPS that if the firearm is not complete ie. not a functional firearm out of the box but sent as 2 separate packages of "parts" then the overnight shipping is not required.
  14. That's exactly what I was thinking! But, more than ironic is daunting and scary....
  15. Wow, those grips are very nice, I love the way the wood grips just jump out at you... Which is why I have these grips made by Ergo on my 1911 Ergo Deluxe Wood Grips The texture kinda feels like snake skin...rough in one direction and smooth in the other direction. Check them out!
  16. Wow, that's great! Steel Challenge... Rimfire on the 3rd Saturday and Centerfire on the 5th...when it rains it pours!
  17. That Febreeze stuff works on skunk stink...not sure the spray stuff has enough"magic" to take care of the motorhome though.
