RIFLE:

Colt Match Competition HBAR II w/ Leupold Vari-X II 1-4X20mm, GG&G flip-up A2 rear sight for emergencies, Smith Ent. compensator, and a trigger job done on the original parts.

SHOTGUN:

Remington 1100 with ported barrel, 7+1 magazine tube, extended charging handle, EZ loader gate, post front sight, Williams aperture rear sight, Speedfeed short pistol grip stock, and a sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet trigger job. In the future, the ported barrel will get replaced by a non-ported barrel with rifle sights of some kind and an extended forcing cone.

PISTOLA:

The 1911A1 single stack that I have with me that works . . . lately it's been a Kimber Target Eclipse II (it has its own topic in the Gallery forum), but that gun has only seen one 3-gun match (I hope for it to see a few more soon!). In the past, I've gone a little crazy and shot my Para-Ordnance P14.45 too, but it's not as much fun since I don't get as many opportunities to reload.

For club matches:

Any pistol although I must admit it usually is an auto.

M1A (iron) AR (scoped)

Shotgun Benelli M1 field or M121-M1.

For big matches:

JP Tacticl rifle with Trijicon TA-11

Benny Hill 6" fat free, there is no substitute! ( This is the pistol I shoot the most often!)

Benelli M1 Super Field that I like to call a Hill/Miller production. To many mods to list befor you all fall asleep.

STI 2011 (9x23) built by Benny, JP/Remington 1100 or Browning Gold, Wakal's AR or Another Friend's AR.

I tend to borrow a lot of 3-gun gear. At the Texas State 3-Gun Championship the only gun I shot that belonged to me was the STI.

STI High Cap 40 and a 38 Super. Both with Iron sights. The 38 for the matches that dont do the major/minor thing.

JP AR-15 with 18' barrel. IOR 1.1-4 scope or JP Irons.

Remington 1100 Competition Master.

Tubb2000 in 6XC for bolt gun stuff. An AWC in 6-284 when the range gets past 600, or its real windy. Both flatten coyotes inside of 800 though.

hey I dont´think I´ve heard it anywhere, but didn´t Taran win all three segments of the 3-gun Lim Nats? What was he using?

I know he´s an Infinity guy, but I am interested in his AR and Shotgun setup.

What are the other big dawgs using?

AR seems standard, but is there any real consensus in Shotgun???
