He will be shooting the stages that Squad 24 (Junior Varsity Super-Squad) shot today. That is about 150 rounds, or 700 stage points. He will make up a lot ofground fast tomorrow. I just hope that they don't have the same delays that we had at the end. Four hours to shoot two stages. We finished in the dark Editted because my math is notgood after such a long day and a couple of adult beverages. At Area 6 a couple of years ago, I was the only revolver shooter on Friday. Friday evening, when the results were posted, I was leading the A6 competition in Revolver. I almost broke a finger pressing the "Print" key. Jerry is almost human and can be beaten in competition,, just not with a revolver :-) The scores I saw are "interim" at www.uspsa.org and Jerry has only shot 6 stages....he is FIRST place on all 6 stages. My money is all on Jerry but someday he will be old with bad sight and crippled like some of us and may have to succumb to a 2nd place by someone young with good eyes and fast reflexes. Jerry is King for a reason............practice, practice, practice! But yeah, he's still the king, I watched the supersquad shoot stage seven, he beat the best by 2 seconds with just a few charlies. As stupid as it sounds, I'm seriously considering backing my strain screw out a bit; I have my 625 turned up too far and the slow trigger is driving me nuts. H. On a side note, unless he falls flat of his face, it looks like Matt Beck is gonna be a lock for 1st C. Great going Matt. It has been great to shoot with you and watch you smoke'em.
