  7. I Would like to say Hats off to Mike Carmoney and the Tappe Boys and all of the RO's, and Sam on stats, for putting on the funnest match I have ever been to. Format was great, Stages where great and changing the squading each day gave everyone to shoot and meet just about everyone at the match. Thanks again for a Great Match Paul

  11. You want some great pics of open guns. go to the thread "Open" Revo pics. some of the best looking Open Revo's I have ever seen. Paul
  12. Why dose this have to be a performance center gun. They still come with a trigger that would take 2 men and a boy to pull. The only thing that I can see that the performance center might do to upgrade a gun for competition shooters is a longer brl and Cylinder cut for moons. I think that the way to go is to Keep the performance center out of it and keep the price down. Why pay for the performance center prices, when you are going to have to put more money in to the gun anyway. The performance center was started to do little and charge a lot to the people who don't Know the difference.
  13. Hey Mark Why don't you go and crash the party this weekend. I am sure that they would love to have some direct input. Paul
  14. Happy Birthday Loui man From your #1 Uncle Paul
  15. If there is no problem with sharing guns,( If I can't have one buy the match.) Count me in. Even if I had to just come and watch the last day I will be there. Next order of business, dose anyone have a 625 or something in a .40 cal Revolver???? Let me Know!!! Paul
  16. Both Sat. and Sun. will be shot on USPSA targets, using USPSA scoring and the general (non-equipment) USPSA rules. We will not be setting up a chrono, so you can shoot whatever ammo you want, as long it takes down the steel poppers which will be calibrated to fall at 120 p.f. Because there is no chrono, for scoring purposes, everyone will be assumed to be shooting major both days (even though most probably won't be), so C hits are worth 4 points, etc. -------------------- Mike Carmoney A23819 Go to the top of the page +Quote Post Point of order. If you are wanting to limit Sunday to 6 shots and .40 or greater then you should chrono and shot major. But to remove 38 and still shoot a 120pf is only limiting the # of shooters that will come. I think that limiting it to 6 shots is OK but I see no point to limiting Cal. I know if I come that I will be able to shoot either FFl's 625 on Sunday or one of the great Rev. shooters in Iowa will let me use one, but I would like to be able to use my own equiptment. Also C hits are not worth 4 if they where I would not be a D shooter. Snubby
  17. Mike I looked at the entry form and it says that on the 5th you have to shot a .40 cal or greater. is this correct, if so Why???? July 3: 9 Steel Challenge-like stages with x17 (317 or 617) at Tappe’s range July 4 & 5: 8 USPSA-style stages (approx. 200 rounds/day) at OOPS range July 4: Open revolver (any revolver 9mm caliber or greater) July 5: Limited revolver (any 6-shot revolver .40 caliber or greater) I Wanted to to shoot my snubby on The 5th because it is a 6 shooter. Snubby
  18. Mike , + 2 on the trigger jobs. Little Snubby loves his 686 + and my wife thinks that I am having an affair with my Carmonized 627. I hope that with the 4 guns that Spry&Pray is having trigger jobs done on, after they pulled the trigger on mine will earn me a Fine Stoggy at the July 4th Match. Snubby
  19. I can vouch for the needing the extra shots. If anyone has looked at the IRC stages for 2009 you will want to have as many as you can. they are posted at the ICORE web site. some advice Practice the Star. If anyone needs a star to practice PM me, I can Help. Snubby
  20. Mike. I am so glad that you are keeping your comments about the out dated good old boy stage at the IRC that only a few like TO YOURSELF!!!!
  21. Cliff? I'll let you take this one.... Wow, that is just too easy. I'm going to start giving the Surgi Brothers some slack. After shooting with Waltermitty, they look like rocket scientists. Thanks for the complement, I Think????? Paul
  22. As uncle Snubby please don't scare little ffl with the notion that cliff could be his uncle. but who knows with his seeded past. present and future. I think you will find out what Carmoney ment about letting Cliff having it when Cliff chimes in. Just wait for it. Snubby (Paul)
