One of the local revo shooters bought a used 5" that was found to have sticky charge holes. He sent it to Smith for repairs (new cylinder), which took over three months to get resolved. After the gun was returned it has more issues than ever, 1. skip chambers is in town and 2. under dry firing, fast or slow, the cylinder won't "carry up" to the next charge hole consistently. I think the skipping is an easy fix, but the cylinder not advancing is another story. He doesn't want to send it to Smith unless its absolutely necessary. Any body have a solution or a gunsmith that resolve the carry up issue?
