Matt Cheely
#1 Pick up the strong foot and plant it close to it's final position and then pivot on it.

el pres
Turn to strong side, step both feet. Right, thats kind of what I wanted to say ??? #2 but you first step back with your strong foot , somewhat spin on your support, then step with your support to complete the turn... Jake Di Vita
This is kinda old, my overall technique has been overhauled...but the foot movement is still the same.
ChrisStock
This is kinda old, my overall technique has been overhauled...but the foot movement is still the same. Your video is how I learned to shoot an El Prez, Jake, so I guess I fall under "#5" as well.

JThompson
What I haven't seen anyone say, and I know at least Jake and I do it put most of our weight on our weak side foot to make the first move with the strong foot easier. EDIT: I also learned from Jake on that point... watch the vid... you can see he has very little weight on the weak side foot. Don't forget to snap your head around too... it gets your eye on the target and your body moving faster. Edited May 19, 2008 by JThompson
